Marigot : l’OAVCT implante son nouveau bureau régional pour rapprocher les services de la population
L’Office d’Assurance Véhicules Contre-Tiers (OAVCT) a inauguré, ce mercredi 24 septembre 2025, un nouveau bureau régional à Marigot, dans le département du Sud-Est. Après l’ouverture récente de succursales à Tabarre, Aquin et Aux Côteaux, l’institution poursuit ainsi sa stratégie de décentralisation pour rapprocher ses services de la population.
Selon le Directeur Général de l’OAVCT, Pierre Jean Raymond ANDRÉ, cette initiative s’inscrit dans un plan global de modernisation et vise à améliorer l’accessibilité des services d’assurance automobile. « L’OAVCT joue un rôle central dans la régulation du secteur, la sécurité routière et la protection des usagers », a-t-il rappelé lors de son discours.
Jusqu’ici, les habitants de Marigot et des localités avoisinantes devaient se rendre à Jacmel pour souscrire une assurance, renouveler leur police ou obtenir des informations. Le nouveau bureau leur permettra désormais de réaliser ces démarches sur place, réduisant ainsi le temps et les coûts de déplacement.
À moyen terme, l’OAVCT ambitionne d’étendre ce modèle à l’échelle nationale, afin de bâtir un réseau solide et moderne, couvrant toutes les régions. « Notre objectif est de rapprocher davantage l’institution des citoyens et de rehausser la qualité de nos services », a souligné Monsieur ANDRÉ, tout en appelant la population à utiliser pleinement ce nouveau bureau.
Le Directeur Général a profité de l’inauguration pour remercier le Gouvernement, la Direction Générale des Impôts, les autorités locales ainsi que le personnel de l’OAVCT pour leur appui à la concrétisation de ce projet.
Cette ouverture marque une nouvelle étape dans la politique de décentralisation de l’OAVCT, qui entend faciliter l’accès aux services pour les habitants des zones éloignées et renforcer son rôle dans la modernisation de l’administration publique.

Better than most of the writing I have come across on this topic recently, simpler and more direct, and a look at thinkbeyondboundaries continued in that same way, a real outlier in a crowded space full of repetitive content that says little while taking up a lot of reader time today which is unfortunate.
