Haïti-Élections : La Primature et le CEP s’entretiennent sur les nouvelles bases du processus électoral
Réunis hier, jeudi 9 avril 2026, à la Villa d’Accueil, le Premier Ministre Alix Didier FILS-AIMÉ et les membres du Conseil Électoral Provisoire (CEP) ont discuté des conditions d’organisation des prochaines élections. Au centre des échanges, ils ont évoqué le budget, le calendrier et le cadre légal, s’engageant d’un commun accord en vue de la réalisation du scrutin.
En effet, autour de la table figuraient le Ministre de la Justice et de la Sécurité publique, Patrick PÉLISSIER, et des conseillers du Premier Ministre. Ensemble, ils ont examiné les aspects techniques et institutionnels devant encadrer les élections et ont abordé les points nécessaires à l’avancement du processus.
Les échanges ont porté en priorité sur l’harmonisation du décret électoral du 1er décembre 2025 avec le Pacte National pour la stabilité. Le budget électoral et le calendrier des opérations ont également été abordés. Selon le communiqué de la Primature, ces deux éléments sont déterminants pour la crédibilité du processus.
Au terme de la rencontre, une convergence de vues s’est dégagée entre la Primature et le CEP. Les deux parties s’accordent sur l’urgence d’organiser des élections dans des conditions garantissant la transparence, la sécurité et la participation citoyenne.
De son côté, le Gouvernement a renouvelé sa volonté de mobiliser les moyens politiques, sécuritaires, financiers et logistiques indispensables. Quant au CEP, il insiste sur son engagement à conduire le processus en toute indépendance, avec impartialité et inclusion. Par ailleurs, les deux parties ont convenu de poursuivre les discussions, afin de consolider les bases du processus électoral.
