3ᵉ édition du Sommet des Jeunes Activistes : Une plateforme pour une jeunesse connectée et engagée
La 3ᵉ édition du Sommet des Jeunes Activistes, tenue au local de Banj, situé à Delmas 66, a eu lieu, le samedi 25 janvier 2025, sous le thème « Exploration politique et technologique pour une jeunesse connectée ». Ce rendez-vous annuel incontournable pour la jeunesse haïtienne met en lumière les talents de jeunes entrepreneurs et activistes, tout en stimulant leur engagement dans des projets porteurs de transformation.
Environ 200 jeunes ont participé à ce sommet qui vise à intégrer davantage la jeunesse dans les communautés et à les sensibiliser à s’engager activement dans les mouvements sociaux haïtiens. Ces mouvements couvrent divers secteurs tels que la culture, la technologie, l’éducation, ainsi que d’autres domaines pouvant contribuer au développement de la société.
Lancé en décembre 2021 sous le leadership de Rivaldo Louis, Coordonnateur, cette initiative est née d’une réflexion sur le manque d’engagement collectif des jeunes. « Les jeunes ont pour mission d’apporter leur partition et de s’impliquer davantage dans tous les sphères par leurs compétences », a déclaré Rivaldo Louis, également Initiateur de Rival Promo.
Ce sommet marque le début d’un mouvement visant à transformer la passivité en dynamisme et en engagement collectif. Rivaldo Louis invite ainsi les jeunes à se distinguer positivement pour le bien-être du pays. Selon lui, la jeunesse a un rôle clé à jouer dans le développement d’Haïti.
Pour cette 3ᵉ édition, des intervenants de renom ont été invités pour discuter des enjeux politiques et technologiques actuels. Parmi eux figuraient :

– Pasceus Lafwa Fitsch,
– Dr Cassandra Jean François,
– Cyndie F. Désir,
– Stéphanie Sophie Louis,
– Valeska M. Agbara Yâ Toya.
Leurs interventions ont permis de mieux comprendre comment les jeunes peuvent s’intégrer dans le tissu socio-économique haïtien, tout en mettant en lumière l’importance de l’innovation technologique et de l’implication politique.
Une vitrine pour l’artisanat et l’entrepreneuriat
Le sommet n’a pas été limité aux conférences. Une exposition artisanale et entrepreneuriale a permis de découvrir des produits locaux, tels que :

Le Sommet des Jeunes Activistes représente bien plus qu’un simple événement : il s’agit d’un mouvement d’engagement pour inciter la jeunesse haïtienne à prendre part activement au changement et à transformer la réalité socio-économique du pays.
À travers des échanges enrichissants et des initiatives concrètes, cette 3ᵉ édition a inspiré les jeunes à sortir de l’ombre pour se lancer dans des projets porteurs de sens. La jeunesse d’aujourd’hui est, sans aucun doute, l’actrice principale du changement de demain.
