Des jeunes de Thomassin optent pour la formation et la culture en réponse à l’insécurité
Des jeunes de Thomassin ont organisé une initiative de formation en graphisme à l’école Pasteur Devèze Phaphile (MIPADEP). Ce projet vise à renforcer les compétences locales, tout en proposant des alternatives concrètes face à la montée de l’insécurité.
Dans cette optique, en évoquant le contexte actuel dominé par des tensions sécuritaires, ce groupe de jeunes a mis en place un programme de formation en design graphique. L’activité s’est déroulée, sur neuf séances, au sein de l’établissement scolaire MIPADEP. Au cours de cette période, les participants ont appris à concevoir divers supports visuels, tels que des logos, flyers, badges et affiches.
Selon les organisateurs, cette initiative répond directement à l’insécurité persistante dans la zone, soulignant notamment les impacts liés aux passages de groupes armés dans la communauté. Par conséquent, le projet ambitionne d’offrir aux jeunes des perspectives professionnelles, afin de réduire leur exposition aux environnements violents.
Parallèlement, les initiateurs annoncent d’autres activités éducatives et culturelles, dont un programme de projection intitulé « Dimanche ciné ». Une bibliothèque communautaire devrait également voir le jour dans la zone de Pyron, et elle facilitera, selon eux, l’accès à la lecture et à la formation continue.
En conclusion, les responsables du projet lancent un appel à la solidarité, estimant que l’accompagnement de la jeunesse reste essentiel pour stabiliser la communauté et encourager un avenir plus structuré.
