Les Conseillers-Présidents, Smith Augustin et Leslie Voltaire, ont été conviés à un petit-déjeuner offert en leur honneur par l’Ambassadeur de la République Dominicaine en Haïti, Faruk Miguel, ce mardi 11 juin 2024. L’objectif de cette rencontre était de dynamiser et de renforcer les relations bilatérales entre les deux pays.
Les discussions ont été fructueuses, portant sur divers sujets d’intérêt commun tels que le commerce, l’éducation, la sécurité frontalière et la culture. Les deux parties ont exprimé leur volonté de collaborer étroitement et ont envisagé des initiatives concrètes pour promouvoir un développement mutuel bénéfique et une coopération renforcée.
L’Ambassadeur Miguel a réaffirmé l’engagement de son pays à travailler en partenariat avec Haïti pour relever les défis communs et saisir conjointement les opportunités de croissance.
Cette réunion illustre la volonté des deux pays de surmonter les défis ensemble et de capitaliser sur les opportunités de croissance mutuelle. En renforçant leurs liens bilatéraux, Haïti et la République Dominicaine s’engagent vers un avenir de coopération fructueuse et de prospérité partagée.
