Les examens officiels de la 9ème année fondamentale qui ont débuté le lundi 17 juillet dernier, ont pris fin, hier mercredi 19 juillet 2023, comme le calendrier scolaire 2022-2023 du Ministère de l’Éducation et de la Formation Professionnelle l’avait prévu.
192,882 candidats ont participé à ces examens officiels. Selon les témoignages de certains candidats et des responsables des centres d’examen de la zone métropolitaine de Port-au-Prince, les examens se sont déroulés sans trop d’incidents majeur.
Au Lycée Horacius Laventure de Delmas 75, l’un des responsables du centre se dit satisfait du bon déroulement des examens dans son établissement durant ces trois jours. Il a félicité les autorités éducatives qui ont fait de leur mieux pour la réussite des examens officiels, et, ce, malgré la conjoncture sociopolitique et sécuritaire qui prévaut actuellement sur tout le territoire national.
« Vu le déroulement des examens, je pense que l’épreuve était à la portée des élèves, cette année. Les candidats ont passé les épreuves sans se plaindre trop, ce qui n’a pas été le cas dans les années antérieures », a-t-il fait savoir.
Des agents de la Police nationale d’Haïti étaient également présents pour assurer le bon déroulement des examens. Des patrouilles policières ont été remarquées dans les parages de certains centres d’examens dans la région métropolitaine de Port-au-Prince.
Un surveillant, rencontré dans l’enceinte d’une école privée à Pétion-Ville, a déclaré que les trois jours d’examens se sont déroulés dans un climat de calme, il a applaudit le MENFP, tout en souhaitant qu’il apportera des corrections sur certains points noirs, car, soutient-il, tout ne marche pas comme sous la houlette.
« Il y avait des retards dans la distribution des copies comme c’est toujours le cas, mais il n’y avait pas de problème dans l’impression, car les textes d’examens ont été lisibles. La surveillance a été plus disciplinée cette année », a-t-il soutenu
« Il y a eu des candidats absents dans ma salle d’examens. Je ne sais pas pourquoi ils ne sont pas là, peut-être que leurs parents n’ont pas de l’argent pour retirer leurs fiches dans leurs écoles respectives ou pour les emmener au centre d’examen », se lamente un jeune lycéen venu passer ses examens.
« J’ai bien passé mes examens, mais j’étais très stressée parce que c’était la première fois que je les passais. J’ai réussi à passer certaines épreuves, mais l’examen était à ma portée », raconte une jeune fille, âgée d’une quinzaine d’années.
Les candidats se sont également plaints des retards dans la distribution des copies d’examen, des dizaines de candidats n’avaient pas reçu leurs copies à temps dès le premier jour. Cependant, les autorités ont déployé un moyen pour permettre à ces derniers de ne pas perdre l’année scolaire qui a été déjà chamboulée par la crise sociopolitique et sécuritaire.
Selon le chiffre du Ministère de l’Education Nationale et de la Formation Professionnelle, 849 centres d’examens ont été ouverts pour le déroulement des examens officiels de la 9ème année fondamentale dans les 10 départements du pays, dont 292 pour le département de l’Ouest.
Par ailleurs, le titulaire du MENFP, Nesmy MANIGAT, a salué les parents, les élèves, les enseignants et les directeurs d’écoles à travers les dix Directions Départementales d’Éducation (DDE), pour les sacrifices consentis au cours de cette année scolaire marquée par d’énormes difficultés
Les élèves ont subi les épreuves de Communication française et de Sciences expérimentales le lundi 17 juillet 2023 et Communication créole, sciences sociales et Anglais le 18 juillet. Lors de la dernière journée, les élèves ont subi les épreuves de mathématiques et d’espagnol.
Les examens pour la fin d’études secondaires (pour les candidats du Nouveau Secondaire 4 (NS4)) sont fixés du 31 juillet au 3 août 2023 et l’examen de français pour les élèves de NS3 est prévu pour le 4 août 2023, jusqu’à date les candidats du NS4 n’ont pas encore leur fiche en main et les fiches ne sont pas encore imprimées, selon nos sources.
Il convient de rappeler que la nouvelle année académique 2023-2024 est programmée pour le 11 septembre 2023.
