Formation du CEP: le Comité de Dialogue Inter-Femme s’en prend au CPT
Le Comité de Dialogue Inter-Femme a exprimé ses inquiétudes face aux irrégularités majeures survenues lors de la désignation de la représentante du secteur des femmes dans le processus électoral. En ce sens, il appelle le Conseil Présidentiel de Transition à réévaluer sa décision.
Cette structure, regroupant plus de 500 organisations féministes et féminines, en juillet 2024, a adressé une correspondance officielle au Secrétariat de la Présidence qui a déclenché une série d’événements controversés.
Ce comité qui avait supervisé une élection démocratique et inclusive pour élire une des quatre candidates, dont le résultat avait clairement favorisé Yves Marie ÉDOUARD, élue avec 154 voix.
Cependant, contre toute attente, le Conseil Présidentiel de Transition a annulé les résultats de cette élection sans fournir de justification. Cette décision inattendue a provoqué une profonde inquiétude au sein du comité, mettant en question la transparence et la légitimité du processus électoral.
Les membres du comité dénoncent l’absence de justification pour l’annulation des résultats, estimant que cette décision compromet les principes de démocratie et d’équité.
De plus, la nouvelle élection, organisée par une autre entité, a enregistré un taux de participation extrêmement bas, inférieur à 5 %. Ce faible taux est préoccupant et témoigne d’un désengagement significatif des électeurs, compromettant ainsi le respect des droits démocratiques et la validité du nouveau processus.
Ce qui reflète également un manque de confiance et d’engagement des électeurs envers cette nouvelle élection. Face à cette situation, le Comité de Dialogue Inter-Femme appelle à une révision immédiate de la décision du Conseil Présidentiel de Transition.
En ce sens, le comité exige la reconnaissance des résultats initiaux. Tout en soulignant que cette reconnaissance est cruciale pour maintenir la crédibilité et l’intégrité du processus électoral.
Le comité appelle également à la restauration d’un processus électoral transparent et équitable pour garantir le respect des valeurs démocratiques et préserver la confiance des organisations participantes.
L’absence de transparence et la gestion douteuse des élections représentent une menace grave pour les principes démocratiques et les droits des électeurs.
Le Comité de Dialogue Inter-Femme appelle donc à des mesures correctives urgentes pour éviter une crise plus profonde et assurer que les voix des électrices soient pleinement entendues et respectées.
