La Police Nationale d’Haiti informe, via un communiqué, avoir déjoué un kidnapping dans la zone de Santo 25 et procédé à la libération de 6 personnes.
Selon les autorités policières, la libération de ces otages, récupération et la confiscation de cinq véhicules sont le résultat d’un bouclage qui a été mis en place par la Police dans la zone de Beudet, zone située dans la commune de la Croix-des-Bouquets.
Les bandits ont dû abandonner les véhicules et à prendre la fuite en libérant les otages grâce à la progression des patrouilles du CBIM de Meyer, de Cesselesse, de SPCBQ et de Marassa.
Un véhicule Toyota Land Cruiser blanc, ayant une plaque d’immatriculation Service de l’État, avec 4 personnes à bord, et un autre de marque Honda CRV, verte année 1997, avec 2 autres personnes à bord, ont été récupérés par les forces de l’ordre.
Les agents de la PNH ont saisi 3 motos: Piatina rouge et noire, Lingken rouge et noire et Appollo rouge (toutes sans plaques d’immatriculation).
“À noter qu’ils étaient une quinzaine de malfrats à bord de plusieurs motocyclettes, impliqués dans ce coup, ont tenté également d’enlever les victimes, selon les riverains. Après cette intervention policière, les personnes enlevées ont été prises en charge par le Sous-Commissariat de Cesselesse”, conclut ledit communiqué.
