Le porte-parole du Secteur Démocratique et Populaire(SDP), Me André Michel, invite le Premier Ministre Ariel Henry à engager un dialogue politique multilatéral afin d’empêcher le pays de sombrer dans le chaos.
Me André Michel croit que le dialogue est le seul moyen possible pouvant conduire à une véritable solution à la crise actuelle que connaît le pays. De ce fait, pour y arriver, il demande au chef du gouvernement d’entreprendre des pourparlers avec tous les secteurs vitaux de la vie nationale.
« Le PM Ariel Henry doit prendre rapidement l’initiative d’un dialogue politique multilatéral pour poser les problèmes de la sécurité, du retour à l’ordre démocratique, de la Justice et du renforcement de la gouvernance du pays. Dans le cas contraire ce sera la pagaille, il faut agir », a écrit le porte-parole du SDP sur son compte Twitter.
Une genèse politique opposée à son apocalypse
Durant les 10 dernières années de pouvoir du régime PHTK, Me André Michel était très présent sur les réseaux sociaux et dans les médias pour critiquer et dénoncer les moindres dérives de l’ancien Président Michel Joseph Martely et du feu président Jovenel Moïse.
A chaque geste, celui qui se clame l’avocat du peuple, monte au créneau. Et sur ce, il n’épargnait personne du pouvoir, même la communauté internationale n’était exempte de tout reproche. On retrouvait un homme politique dévoué, fougueux, un patriote et un grand visionnaire sensible à la cause du peuple, surtout la masse défavorisée, mais comme dit le dicton “L’homme à bord du pouvoir n’est pas l’homme au pouvoir ».
Me André Michel était le fer de lance des mouvements de mobilisation de rues dans la capitale. Il répondait toujours présent pour accompagner la population dans la lutte visant à renverser les « Tèt Kale » au pouvoir. La devise de l’homme de loi était claire et nette: « Pas de négociation avec le pouvoir de Jovenel Moïse, non plus avec celui de Michel Joseph Martely », car, selon lui, ces deux anciens présidents sont les principaux responsables de la situation critique du pays, ce qui peut se révéler vrai. Il utilisait son métier pour libérer les prisonniers politiques et défendre les droits des personnes se trouvant au bas de l’échelle sociale. Malgré les appels au dialogue du pouvoir de l’époque, André Michel bourdait les invitations à maintes reprises. C’était le commencement d’une belle histoire d’amour et la naissance d’un nouveau leader sous la scène politique.
André Michel sous le charme d’un Ariel Henry aux bras ouverts
Tout à basculer en juillet 2021, avec l’arrivée du Dr Ariel Henry à la tête du gouvernement et l’assassinat tragique du Président Jovenel Moïse. Le 11 septembre 2021 un événement tragique a eu lieu, l’esprit critique de Me André Michel a disparu après avoir signé l’accord politique. Depuis, le porte-parole du Secteur Démocratique et Populaire a affiché un visage caché, celui d’un conseiller, un collaborateur et un défenseur, mais cette fois c’était le défenseur d’un petit groupe quoiqu’il garde sa position vis-à-vis du PHTK.
Malgré les nombreuses dérives du gouvernement d’Ariel Henry et son incapacité à apporter une réponse à la crise multidimensionnelle caractérisée par une insécurité traumatisante, la dégradation de la situation économique, la prolifération des gangs, entre autres, “l’avocat du peuple” garde son silence. Pour plus d’un, ce silence n’est pas gratuit. Pour eux, ils croient que le neurochirurgien a mis le SDP dans sa poche, comme preuve ils soutiennent la représentation de la structure politique au sein du gouvernement en place.
Depuis peu de temps, on trouve un André Michel passif, silencieux, discret, un promoteur du dialogue et un homme ouvert. Si autrefois l’homme de loi croyait que le dialogue était une mauvaise idée, depuis un certain temps, il prescrit le dialogue comme solution à la crise. Si ses adeptes sont déçus de la philosophie de Me André Michel, d’autres, par conséquent, croient qu’il s’agit d’une ruse utilisée par ce dernier pour se refaire une santé économique puisqu’il mène déjà 4 buts à zéro au dépens des masses défavorisées. Donc, un franc tireur!
