À l’occasion de la 31ᵉ édition des Mardis de la Nation, tenue le mardi 16 décembre 2025, le titulaire du Ministère du Commerce et de l’Industrie (MCI), James MONAZARD, a fait le point sur l’état d’avancement des réformes et projets portés par son ministère. Il a présenté les priorités économiques du gouvernement, mettant l’accent sur l’investissement, la création d’emplois, la formalisation des entreprises et la protection des consommateurs.
Le Ministre a souligné la progression du ministère dans le domaine des investissements : alors que seuls deux projets étaient recensés en juin 2024, quatorze projets structurants sont désormais en cours en 2025. Cette évolution, a-t-il expliqué, s’inscrit dans une stratégie nationale visant à stimuler la croissance et l’emploi.
James MONAZARD est également revenu sur le dossier HOPE/HELP, jugé crucial pour l’économie nationale. Il a annoncé une avancée au Congrès américain, au niveau de la Commission des voies et moyens, en vue du renouvellement du dispositif. Selon lui, cette reconduction permettrait de soutenir entre 30 000 et 62 000 emplois directs dans le secteur textile sur trois ans. Le Ministre plaide, par ailleurs, pour une extension à dix ans renouvelables, afin d’assurer une visibilité durable pour le secteur.
Le Ministre a également évoqué le lancement, le 15 décembre, en présence du Premier Ministre, de la Carte d’Identité Professionnelle (CIP) digitalisée. Ce dispositif vise à accélérer la formalisation des entreprises individuelles. Plus de 20 000 petites et moyennes entreprises ont déjà été enregistrées entre juin 2024 et décembre 2025. La CIP pourra être délivrée sous 72 heures, après validation de la patente, du NUNI et de l’enregistrement légal.
Parallèlement, deux projets seront financés dans le cadre du Programme d’Appui à l’Entrepreneuriat Féminin (PAEF). Les dossiers de la première cohorte sont attendus jusqu’au 31 décembre. Les projets retenus bénéficieront de formations spécialisées et d’un appui financier via le Fonds de Développement Industriel (FDI). Sur le plan de la protection des consommateurs, MONAZARD a annoncé le renforcement des moyens des inspecteurs de contrôle de qualité, avec la fourniture de nouveaux équipements et formations dans le cadre du Programme intégré de développement des entreprises.
En conclusion, James MONAZARD a insisté sur le rôle de l’emploi dans la lutte contre l’insécurité. Grâce au Programme d’Appui à l’Entrepreneuriat Jeunesse, il mise sur l’investissement local et l’initiative privée pour renforcer la stabilité nationale, affirmant que ces mesures offrent une approche économique durable pour le pays.
