L’Office d’Assurance des Véhicules Contre Tiers (OAVCT) a inauguré, ce lundi 11 novembre 2025, un nouveau bureau au sein du commissariat de Delmas 33. Cette initiative s’inscrit dans le cadre de la modernisation de l’institution et de son rapprochement avec les citoyens.
Sous la direction du Directeur Général Pierre Jean Raymond ANDRÉ, cette ouverture vise à faciliter l’accès aux services de l’OAVCT, à renforcer la coopération avec la Police routière et à améliorer la qualité du service offert aux automobilistes.
Lors de son allocution, Monsieur ANDRÉ a salué le travail des équipes et rappelé les difficultés auxquelles l’institution a été confrontée durant ces dernières années, notamment la perte de plusieurs bureaux dans la capitale et dans d’autres départements.
« Cette inauguration symbolise la résilience de l’institution et notre engagement à offrir des services efficaces, modernes et plus proches des automobilistes », a déclaré Pierre Jean Raymond ANDRÉ, visiblement ému par ce moment qu’il qualifie de tournant dans la relance de l’OAVCT.
Le choix du commissariat pour abriter ce nouveau bureau traduit aussi une volonté de renforcer la collaboration entre l’OAVCT et la Police Nationale d’Haïti (PNH), en particulier avec la Direction de la Circulation et de la Police Routière (DCPR).
La cérémonie s’est déroulée en présence du Commissaire principal de Delmas 33, Lacombe Junior NACIUS, de plusieurs cadres de l’OAVCT et d’autres représentants de la PNH. Selon la Direction Générale, cette nouvelle étape vise à simplifier les démarches administratives et à mieux coordonner les efforts en matière de sécurité routière.
Avec cette initiative, l’OAVCT réaffirme son engagement à moderniser ses services et à se rapprocher davantage des citoyens, tout en consolidant son rôle dans la régulation et la prévention des risques liés à la circulation.
