Maudeline Derival, Danielo Louis et Therly Job Pierre ont remporté la première édition du concours de chant contre les violences faites aux femmes et aux filles de la Ligue Haïtienne Des Femmes pour le Renouveau (LIHFER), organisé sous le thème : « Vyolans sou fanm ak tifi: Chante pou sansibilize».
La finale de la première édition du concours de chanson de la Ligue Haïtienne Des Femmes pour le Renouveau (LIHFER), afin de sensibiliser contre les violences faites aux femmes et aux filles a eu lieu ce dimanche 10 décembre 2023, à l’hôtel Montana à Pétion-Ville. Après la première phase du concours, 10 candidats ont été retenus par le jury pour la deuxième phase. À travers cette initiative, les organisateurs envisagent d’utiliser cet art pour dénoncer la violence basée sur le genre.
Maudeline Derival a terminé en première place suivi de Danielo Louis et Therly Job Pierre qui ont complété le podium des gagnants de cette grande première. La première gagnante a eu un chèque de 200 000 gourdes, le second 120 000 gourdes et la troisième 80 000 gourdes, outre cela, ils sont du même coup devenus les ambassadeurs de la LIHFER et ont gagné d’autres primes.
Plusieurs personnalités dont la Ministre à la Condition Féminine Dr Sofia Loréus, Yolette Mengual, Roseline Benjamin, Lionel Benjamin, Claudy Cooper, Gracien Jean, Fabrice Rouzier, Mackenson Brutus entres autres ont été présents à la cérémonie.
