Rotaract Club de Port-au-Prince Champ de Mars : sous la houlette de Stevenson BIGORD, le comité 2025-2026 entre en action
Sous une atmosphère chaleureuse et empreinte de convivialité, rythmée par des notes de jazz, le Rotaract Club de Port-au-Prince Champ de Mars a officialisé dimanche 6 juillet 2025, à l’hôtel El Rancho, l’installation de son nouveau comité exécutif pour l’année rotarienne 2025-2026. Plusieurs dizaines d’invités, issus de divers horizons sociaux et professionnels, ont assisté à cette cérémonie de passation de pouvoir, témoignant de l’importance de ce club dans le tissu associatif local.
À cette occasion, Stevenson BIGORD a pris officiellement les rênes du club, succédant à Marie France C. CLERGÉ, présidente sortante, qui a conduit le club avec brio durant l’année écoulée. Le nouveau comité, composé de treize membres dynamiques et engagés, affiche une volonté claire de poursuivre et renforcer les actions en faveur de la communauté haïtienne.
Dans son discours d’investiture, Stevenson BIGORD a lancé un vibrant appel à l’engagement collectif des membres. « Ensemble, transformons nos actions en catalyseurs de changement durable », a-t-il affirmé avec conviction, précisant que cette année serait placée sous le thème « Nurturing Excellence through Unity and Service (NEXUS) », ou « Nourrir l’excellence par l’unité et le service ». Il a promis de guider le club « vers une nouvelle ère d’impact et d’excellence », invitant chacun à se mobiliser pour atteindre des sommets inédits.
Rendant hommage à sa prédécesseur, il a salué « un leadership inspirant et un engagement constant » qui ont marqué l’année passée et renforcé l’identité du club. Malgré les défis du contexte actuel, le nouveau comité entend poursuivre ses actions dans les domaines de l’éducation, de la santé, du développement professionnel et de l’action sociale.
Marie France C. CLERGÉ, présidente sortante, a pour sa part dressé un bilan positif de son mandat lors de la cérémonie. « Je suis fière de ce que nous avons accompli », a-t-elle déclaré, soulignant l’importance de la mobilisation de son équipe et des membres dans les actions menées autour de la santé, de l’éducation, de la citoyenneté et de la protection de l’environnement. Elle a encouragé le nouveau comité à maintenir cet élan, remerciant partenaires et soutiens, avant de souhaiter beaucoup de succès à Stevenson BIGORD dans sa nouvelle mission.
Ce passage de relais illustre la continuité des valeurs du club et la reconnaissance du travail accompli par l’équipe sortante, qui a su faire rayonner le Rotaract Champ de Mars malgré les obstacles.
Le comité 2025–2026 est ainsi constitué : Stevenson BIGORD (président), Jeft ÉTIENNE (vice-président), May Lissa Laguerre BIGORD (secrétaire), Caroline CLERVIL (trésorière), Chesly Carine CHARLES (cheffe du protocole), Jovania PAUL (responsable Projets de service), Isabelle C. CHÉRY (Action intérieure), Schakina DESTIMAR (Développement professionnel), Nadine LUCIEN (Commission Santé), Reydjie Thamar SAINT FLEUR (Image publique), Christelle DESTIMAR (Fundraising et Fondation Rotary), Marie France C. CLERGÉ (Relations internationales et Immediate Past President), et Roodlin MACCINOT (Gestion des risques et durabilité environnementale).
Alors que le club entame cette nouvelle année rotaractienne, l’enthousiasme et la détermination des jeunes leaders restent palpables. Dans un pays où chaque geste solidaire compte, le Rotaract Club de Port-au-Prince Champ de Mars continue d’incarner un espoir et une force de transformation sociale, porté par des valeurs d’engagement, d’innovation et de service.
