La population de « Nan site », un quartier populaire de la commune de Jérémie a attaqué, ce lundi 11 septembre 2023, le cortège du premier ministre Ariel Henry. En effet, les habitants de cette localité ont accueilli le cortège du chef du gouvernement, qui allait lancer officiellement la rentrée scolaire dans la Grand’Anse, avec des jets de pierre.
Dans le cadre du lancement officiel de la rentrée scolaire 2023-2024, le Premier Ministre Dr Ariel Henry, accompagné du ministre de l’éducation nationale et de la formation professionnelle; Nesmy Manigat et d’autres membres du gouvernement se sont rendus dans le département de la Grand’Anse pour l’inauguration de deux (2) nouvelles écoles publiques, a savoir l’Ecole Nationale Ducasse René et l’Ecole Nationale de Lifranc.
Les autorités gouvernementales ont connu un mauvais moment. Leur cortège a essuyé des jets de pierre à « Nan Site », une localité de la commune de Jérémie. Les habitants voulaient protester contre la présence du chef du gouvernement et de son équipe dans la région.
Tout au long de la route des barricades ont été dressées pour empêcher le cortège du neurochirurgien de retourner dans la capitale. Selon les informations dont nous disposons, dans la journée du 11 septembre, le cortège du premier ministre, était encore aux Cayes. Le chef du gouvernement a du
rentrer à Port-au-Prince par avion.
