L’organisation politique EDE a organisé, samedi 3 septembre 2022, à Karibe Convention Center, une deuxième journée de réflexion sur le thème « Sitwayen Reveye w : An n Pale pou chanjman !». Entre présentation d’idées et animation culturelle, la population demande d’étancher sa soif.
L’’organisation EDE enchaîne avec les séries de réflexion sur la situation politique du pays et l’importance pour les jeunes de s’engager dans le développement d’Haïti. Après l’excellente conférence-débat du 12 août dernier, à l’hôtel Mariott, à l’occasion de la journée internationale de la jeunesse, elle a organisé, samedi 3 septembre 2022, à l’hôtel Karibe, un rassemblement pour discuter de l’avenir de la jeunesse haïtienne et son implication dans la reconstruction du pays.
À travers cette journée de réflexion, la structure « les Engagés pour le Développement »(EDE) a encore prouvé que la jeunesse haïtienne est la voie impérative qui doit mener à la « reconstruction d’une Haïti à la dimension de sa glorieuse histoire », cela constituait le contenu principal de la présentation du Dr Oméga CHÉRY, Secrétaire Général de l’organisation. C’était aussi la preuve que les jeunes haïtiens ont soif de messages pouvant éveiller leur conscience patriotique, un discours adopté par EDE dans ses différentes séances de débat.
Devant une foule dense et immense, les différents intervenants, en l’occurrence François JIMSON, Dave W. SOLITAIRE, Sterline CIVIL, Job BERÇON, le Dr Oméga CHÉRY et l’ancien Premier Ministre, le Dr Claude JOSEPH, ont présenté la nécessité de « s’engager pour une cause commune ». Cet engagement implique un sentiment patriotique profond et l’implication de la jeunesse dans le développement de son pays.
« […] je mentionne ici le mot « patrie » pour vous expliquer que votre engagement et votre implication sont essentiels au développement du pays[…]. Engagement, développement, patrie et implication sont les mots clés que vous devez retenir à l’issue de cet événement», a évoqué Sterline CIVIL, ancien cadre du Ministère des Affaires Étrangères et des Cultes et professeure d’université, dans son discours sur « Angajman Jèn yo nan devlopman Ayiti ».
L’impressionnante participation et la réaction du public a témoigné l’engouement de la jeunesse haïtienne à chercher une alternative pouvant conduire à un développement réel et durable. L’euphorie que la foule dégageait lors du discours de l’ancien chancelier et Ex Premier Ministre haïtien, Claude JOSEPH, et sa position sur le racisme et l’utranationalisme dominicains est une preuve de plus du sentiment patriotique de l’haïtien.
« Je suis content de participer aujourd’hui à cet événement. Cet immense rassemblement prouve notre volonté en tant que jeune de s’engager réellement dans la reconstruction d’Haïti. Nous avons besoin de leader patriotique comme l’ancien Premier Ministère Claude JODEPH, avec beaucoup de caractère, pour mener la lutte. Je suis fier, et j’attends avec impatience la prochaine rencontre d’EDE », se réjouit Ulrick PIERRE dans la foulée à la fin de cette journée.
C’était aussi l’occasion pour certains jeunes artistes haïtiens comme Ofdalie CHARLIN, Max LAGUERRE, Kelly, Tas Kafe, Titi Congo d’utiliser leur art, à leur manière, pour corroborer ce message porteur de changement, d’unité, d’harmonisation et d’engagement d’EDE.
Le public montre déjà l’envie de participer à une autre activité de cette envergure. Entre-temps, l’organisation EDE penche déjà sur la prochaine rencontre qui, éventuellement, aura lieu le 17 octobre prochain, selon ce qu’a mentionné l’ancien Premier Ministre, à la fin de son discours.
