Haïti : L’École de la Magistrature célèbre ses 30 ans de service à la justice
À l’occasion du 30ᵉ anniversaire de l’École de la Magistrature (EMA), une cérémonie commémorative s’est tenue, ce vendredi 7 novembre 2025, à la salle de cérémonie de l’institution, en présence du Conseiller-Président Edgard LEBLANC Fils, du Premier Ministre Alix Didier FILS-AIMÉ, du Ministre de la Justice Patrick PÉLISSIER, de la Ministre à la Condition féminine Pedrica SAINT-JEAN, ainsi que de plusieurs personnalités du secteur judiciaire et gouvernemental.
Fondée en 1995, l’EMA s’est imposée, au fil des années, comme un pilier de la formation juridico-judiciaire en Haïti. Le Directeur a.i. de l’école, le magistrat Kesner Michel THERMÉSI, a profité de cette commémoration pour saluer la contribution de ceux qui ont façonné l’histoire de l’institution. Il a rendu hommage aux anciens responsables, formateurs et magistrats qui ont, selon lui, permis à l’EMA de maintenir sa réputation de rigueur et d’excellence.
De son côté, le Ministre de la Justice, Patrick PÉLISSIER, a souligné l’importance du rôle de l’EMA dans la consolidation de l’État de droit et dans le renforcement des compétences du corps judiciaire. Il a annoncé la création prochaine de deux nouveaux pôles judiciaires à Ouanaminthe et au Limbé, une initiative destinée à rapprocher la justice des citoyens et à désengorger les tribunaux des grandes agglomérations.
Prenant la parole pour clore la cérémonie, le Premier Ministre Alix Didier FILS-AIMÉ a exprimé sa fierté de participer à cette célébration marquant trois décennies d’engagement au service de la justice haïtienne. Il a réaffirmé le soutien du Gouvernement et du Conseil Présidentiel de Transition (CPT) au renforcement du système judiciaire, estimant que « la solidité d’une nation repose sur la force et la crédibilité de sa justice ».
