L’Alliance pour la Refondation de la Nation (ARN) a exprimé son mécontentement face aux blocages qui compromettent la transition politique en Haïti, tout en dénonçant les retards systématiques dans la mise en œuvre des décisions clés.
Dans une lettre ouverte adressée au Conseil Présidentiel de Transition (CPT), ce mardi 14 janvier 2025, la structure politique pointe l’absence de renouvellement des directions générales, le retard dans l’opérationnalisation du Conseil National de Sécurité (CNS) et les nominations diplomatiques en suspens, des situations qui affaiblissent les institutions publiques et la gouvernance nationale.
L’organisation critique particulièrement le retard dans la nomination du Dr Bertrand SINAL au poste de ministre de la Santé Publique. Médecin expérimenté et engagé, il avait été proposé par les signataires de l’Accord du 21 décembre pour remplacer le Dr Duckenson Lorthe Bléma, révoqué après la tragédie survenue à l’Hôpital Général. Pour l’ARN, cette obstruction constitue une tentative délibérée de limiter l’influence des parties prenantes de l’Accord, au détriment d’une gestion efficace de la crise sanitaire.
Face à ces défis, l’ARN exige une action immédiate du CPT. Elle appelle à une consultation urgente entre les parties signataires pour clarifier les mécanismes de gouvernance et demande la finalisation des nominations en attente, notamment celles des directions générales, du CNS et des diplomates.
La structure politique insiste sur la nécessité de respecter les principes d’inclusivité et de transparence établis dans l’Accord du 3 avril 2024, essentiels pour la réussite de la transition.
Tout en réaffirmant son engagement pour une transition réussie, l’ARN met en garde contre les conséquences des blocages actuels, qui risquent de saper la confiance des acteurs politiques et de compromettre l’avenir du pays.
Ainsi, elle appelle le CPT à prendre ses responsabilités en agissant avec équité et efficacité afin de surmonter les crises qui menacent la stabilité et la reconstruction d’Haïti.
