L’ancien président haïtien, Michel Joseph Martelly, s’est présenté ce mardi 3 octobre 2023, au carré du juge instructeur Walther Wesser Voltaire dans le cadre de l’enquête sur l’assassinat de Jovenel Moïse. Après près de 5 heures d’audition l’ancien chef d’Etat a quitté le carré du magistrat sans faire de déclaration.
Invité par le juge Walter Wesser Voltaire dans le cadre de l’enquête sur l’assassinat de son successeur, le feu président Jovenel Moïse, Michel Joseph Martelly accompagné de son avocat Me Mario Delcy s’est présenté au cabinet d’instruction. L’ancien locataire du Palais National n’a pas fait de déclaration avant ni après son audition. Il s’est contenté de saluer, d’un geste de la main, les journalistes à son arrivée.
« Le président Michel Joseph Martelly a répondu à toutes les questions de l’honorable magistrat Voltaire. Il veut que justice soit rendue à Jovenel Moïse. Le président est disponible pour répondre à toutes autres questions de la justice pour le bon déroulement de l’enquête.», a déclaré son avocat, Mario Delcy aux journalistes.
Une bande à pied et des dizaines de militants et partisans de l’ancien chef de l’État étaient présents en signe de solidarité à Michel Joseph Martelly. Le directeur général du Centre national des équipements (CNE), Kineton Louis, ainsi que Magalie Habitant, ex-directrice générale du Service national de gestion des résidus solides (SNGRS) ont marqué leur présence lors de l’audition.
