Ce 7 juillet 2022 marque le premier anniversaire de la commémoration de l’assassinat du président Jovenel Moïse. Un an après, la justice n’arrive toujours pas à faire jaillir la lumière sur ce dossier. Les assassins vont-ils continuer à poursuivre leur chemin comme c’est le cas pour l’enquête?
Dans la nuit du 6 au 7 Juillet 2021, un événement tragique et imaginable s’est produit dans l’histoire d’Haïti, l’homme, qui devait être le plus protégé et le plus sécurisé dans le pays, a été tué en sa résidence privée à Pèlerin 5, sous les yeux impuissants de ses agents de sécurité. À 53 ans, le président élu d’Haïti en 2017 a été, lâchement, abattu dans sa résidence privée en juillet 2021, cependant, sa femme, Martine Moïse a été grièvement blessée lors de cette attaque.
Un groupe de mercenaires colombiens auraient été à l’origine de cet assassinat, mais personne n’a été condamné jusqu’à date dans cette affaire.
La justice se moque, le gouvernement promet, les clans de Jovenel s’inquiètent sur l’évolution de l’enquête.
Malgré l’arrestation de plusieurs auteurs intellectuels et financiers dans cette affaire dont Christian Emmanuel Sanon, Rodolphe Jaar, Mario Antonio Palacios, l’ancien sénateur John Joël Joseph ainsi que les mercenaires colombiens, le dossier reste toujours au point mort. L’enquête semble loin d’être abouti.
Du côté de la justice, le dossier patauge de juge en juge. Le doyen Bernard Saint-Vil distribue ce dossier tant sensible de juge d’instruction à juge d’instruction, pas moins de 5 juges ont déjà travaillé sur ce dossier. Si on cite: Mathieu Chanlatte, Gary Orélien, Chavannes Etienne et Merlan Belabre sont les quatre juges d’instruction à qui le dossier de Jovenel Moïse avait été déjà confié. Le juge d’instruction Walter Wesser Voltaire est le cinquième juge chargé du dossier depuis le 30 mai 2022.
Si le Magistrat Mathieu Chanlatte et Chavannes Etienne se sont déportés du dossier, le juge Merlan Belabre, pour sa part, n’a même pu démarrer son instruction. Selon plus d’un, tous les juges d’instruction vont instruire ce dossier mais le dossier finira dans les poubelles. Hélas!
Le gouvernement, par le biais du Premier Ministre, se montre très préoccupé par l’aboutissement de l’enquête. Quoique, selon les informations, le chef du gouvernement est impliqué dans le dossier, vu que le neurochirurgien était en contact avec l’un des présumés assassins, en l’occurrence Joseph Félix Badio avant et après l’assassinat du feu président, selon ce qu’est écrit dans le rapport de la Direction Centrale de la Police Judiciaire.
Au-delà de tout, le Chef du Gouvernement se montre très préoccupé par cette affaire.
Il faut aussi noter que selon les proches de l’ancien Chef d’État, le Chef du Gouvernement est un véritable obstacle à l’enquête.
La famille et le clan de Jovenel Moïse continuent à réclamer justice. Que ce soit l’ex-Première Dame Martine MOISE, son fils aîné Joverlin MOÏSE, l’ancien Premier Ministre Claude JOSEPH, et entre autres, sont des personnalités qui se montrent très sensibles à ce que lumière soit faite à ce sujet. La famille Moïse a même décliné une invitation de la primature l’invitant à participer à une cérémonie officielle commémorative au 1er anniversaire de l’assassinat du 58ème président.
Les avocats de la famille se montrent très critiques et inquiets par rapport à l’avancement de l’enquête. Pour eux, cette politicaillerie haïtienne piétine l’avancement de l’enquête. Tandis que la communauté internationale ne fait que suivre de près ce dossier.
À quelques jours du 7 juillet, l’un des suspects clés, Samir Nasri Salem Handal, arrêté en Turquie depuis plusieurs mois, a recouvré sa liberté après que la 37ème Cour Pénale d’Istanbul s’est prononcée sur le dossier tout en rejetant la demande d’extradition de l’homme d’affaires.
Une décision critiquée par l’ex-Chancelier Claude JOSEPH qui croit que c’est un coup d’Ariel Henry et alliés qui ont donné une demande d’extradition bâclée à la justice turque.
Quant à Félix Badio, un des stratèges du crime, il est plongé dans l’abîme invisible. Jusqu’à date personne n’a eu de ses nouvelles. Quoique selon les dires d’une frange de la population, Ariel HENRY est la seule personne qui aurait les nouvelles de son ami. Ce qui pousse certaines personnes à se poser des questions:
Est ce qu’un jour les mercenaires colombiens ne laisseraient pas le pays?
Est-ce que les autres présumés assassins n’auront pas une grâce comme Samir Handal?
Quel est l’avenir de ce dossier?
Il faut aussi signaler que depuis l’assassinat crapuleux de Jovenel Moïse, la justice est quasi dysfonctionnelle. L’enquête sur l’assassinat du président Jovenel Moïse semble loin d’être la priorité de l’heure, vu la dégradation de la situation sécuritaire du pays et la passivité des autorités dans ce dossier; vu l’ampleur de ce crime par sa portée économique, politique et internationale, ce dossier est déjà enterré avec Jovenel Moïse.
Si on traite ainsi le bois vert, qu’en est-il du bois sec?
