Depuis plusieurs semaines, une situation d’insécurité grave règne dans la capitale haïtienne, pour ne pas dire dans tout le pays, cette situation affecte plusieurs secteurs de la vie nationale, notamment les banques, les entreprises, les écoles etc.
Alors que les portes de toutes les écoles sont restées fermées, le MENFP annonce déjà de nouveaux changements dans le calendrier scolaire sans tenir compte de la réouverture des classes. Une décision qui est très mal vue par plus d’un dans la société haïtienne.
Malgré la situation sociopolitique du pays, le ministère ne pense même pas à l’insécurité galopante qui ravage le pays, il ne pense pas aux différentes écoles qui sont fermées depuis plusieurs jours et ne savent même pas quand elles pourront ouvrir leurs portes, malgré ces incertitudes, le MENFP a décidé de modifier le calendrier scolaire, faisant avancer l’éducation « tipa, Tipa » dans une perspective de « Lekòl Paka Tann ». Ces slogans constituent la toile de fond du ministère sous le règne de Nesmy MANIGAT.
Quand les enfants retourneront-ils à l’école ? Quand l’État assumera-t-il sa responsabilité face à l’insécurité ? Toutes ces questions restent sans réponse alors que le ministère, lui-même, est mordicus d’avancer. Est-ce la meilleure décision ?
Les prochains jours nous apporteront des réponses à ces questions.
Rappelons que depuis plusieurs années les élèves n’ont pas pu boucler correctement une année scolaire. Tantôt c’est le pays lock, passant par le COVID-19, tantôt ce sont les actes de banditisme entre autres.
Le réaménagement du calendrier scolaire est-il la meilleure manière de protéger l’avenir académique des élèves dans cette situation chaotique?
