Haïti reçoit, depuis plusieurs mois, de nombreuses visites venant d’horizons divers, à cause de la crise pluridimensionnelle qui gangrène le pays. Après la venue de plusieurs Hauts Émissaires, c’est, donc maintenant, le tour du Secrétaire Général des Nations Unies.
En effet, Antonio Guterres sera dans nos murs, ce samedi, afin de rencontrer plusieurs secteurs de la vie nationale, dans l’objectif de voir comment mieux aborder la crise actuelle du pays.
Il aura à rencontrer le Premier Ministre de facto, Dr Ariel HENRY, sur plusieurs points, dont l’insécurité, la gouvernance, le dialogue inter-haïtien, etc.
Il rencontrera aussi des membres de la Société Civile et des représentants de plusieurs secteurs de la vie nationale. Les discussions porteront sur le rétablissement et la stabilité dans le pays, la sécurité, la bonne gouvernance, l’amélioration des conditions de vie du peuple haïtien, etc.
Joint par téléphone, Pascal ADRIEN a confirmé sa présence à la rencontre avec le Secrétaire Général de l’ONU. “Oui, je serai présent”, a-t-il fait savoir.
Les rencontres ne cessent de se multiplier dans le but de trouver une solution à la crise, mais les conditions de vie des citoyens haïtiens restent les mêmes, et plusieurs artères sont toujours contrôlées par des gangs armés.
