Le Conseil présidentiel de Transition ne peut pas toujours décoller. Le CP fait face à de nombreux défis, dont les 7 membres ayant le droit de vote et leurs secteurs sont les auteurs.
C’est une bataille acharnée entre 2 blocs, majoritaire et minoritaire, qui sont à couteaux tirés. Au lieu de se tenir la main pour sortir le pays du chaos, il l’enterre davantage dans la crise.
Le désir ardant d’être en-tête du conseil présidentiel de transition et la soif de siéger à la Primature sont à la base du déchirement du tissu des nouveaux dirigeants du pays.
Le choix de Edgard LEBLANC FILS pour coordonner le CP et la proposition de Fritz BELIZAIRE, pour succéder à Ariel HENRY comme Chef du prochain gouvernement sont les gouttes d’eau qui ont fait débordé la vase. Considérant le bloc majoritaire, composé des représentants de RED /EDE/ Compromis Historique, Smith AUGUSTIN; de l’accord du 21 décembre Louis Gérald GILLES; de Pitit Desalin, Emmanuel VERTILAIRE et du Collectif 30 Janvier, Edgard LEBLANC FILS, leur avait donné un coup de poignard dans le dos en violant l’accord du 3 avril 2024, le bloc minoritaire formé de Leslie VOLTAIRE (Fanmi Lavalas) , Fritz Alphonse JEAN (Accord Montana) et Laurent ST-CYR (Secteur privé) veut faire feu de tout bois pour se venger de l’équipe en face. En infériorité numérique, ils exigeaient que la majorité soit de 5/7 au lieu de 4/7, violant eux aussi les règles du jeu tout comme ceux de la majorité. Et, hier, au cours d’une réunion, la majorité des membres du CPT ont adopté ce principe de droit de vote, 5/7.
Les deux groupes utilisent la tricherie, les mauvaises pratiques pour tenter de prendre les rênes du pays. Tout cela dans un contexte où la population souffre et attend, sans rien espérer, une nouvelle lueur. Les 7 membres du CP sont comme des marionnettes aux mains des groupes puissants du secteur économique qui veut contrôler les ports et obtenir d’autres privilèges.
Alors que le pays enfle d’une crise multidimensionnelle alarmante, les deux groupes se préoccupent que de leur intérêt et celui de leurs patrons . Ils s’en foutent totalement de la population qui cherche un secours. La communauté internationale, par le biais de la Caricom, se cache derrière le malheur du peuple haïtien.
Chaque secteur, parti politique ou chaque conseiller lutte pour avoir des portefeuilles ministériels et des directions générales. Ce qui laisse croire que la solution à cette situation alarmante qui règne en Haïti n’est pas au premier rang des objectifs du CPT. C’est plutôt le partage de ce qui reste du gâteau qui les préoccupe.
Les premiers faux pas des membres du Conseil présidentiel de transition sont des mauvais signaux et peuvent coûter cher à l’avenir politique d’Haïti. Le devoir du CP de rétablir la paix et la sécurité dans le pays, d’organiser les élections générales crédibles est incertain. Les 5 chantiers restent, jusqu’à date, des promesses frauduleuses.
Le consensus et le respect des règles démocratiques pour garantir une transition apaisée ne semble pas des valeurs cultivées par les membres du CPT mais ils croient que toutes les manières, mêmes les plus déloyales, sont appropriées pour arriver au sommet.
La division est, peut-être, la pointe de l’iceberg. Mais d’entrée de jeu, le projet de diriger le pays avec 7 membres porte à équivoque. Voir le bout du tunnel avec ces politiciens s’avère un conte de fées. Malgré le fait que le peuple ait donné une chance à ces dirigeants, mais il semble qu’ils ne changeront pas. Chasser le naturel, il revient au galop.
En tout cas, les membres du CPT ont voté pour une présidence tournante au sein de cette structure. Emmanuel VERTILAIRE, Smith AUGUSTIN et Laurent ST-CYR ne sont pas intéressés à diriger le #CPT. Selon des sources concordantes au sein du Conseil, la décision de la présidence tournante, adoptée, hier mardi, concerne, jusqu’à date; les 4 autres membres, à savoir Edgard LEBLANC FILS; Fritz Alphonse JEAN; Leslie VOLTAIRE et Louis Gérald GILLES. Une rencontre décisive est encore prévue, ce mercredi 8 mai, entre les membres du #CPT pour clore ce débat. “Tout est possible et tout est sur la table”, a fait savoir l’un des Conseillers à notre rédaction.
