Les bandits armés ont, une fois de plus, lancé des assauts contre les communes de Gressier et Carrefour dans le département de l’Ouest. Plusieurs personnes ont été tuées ou blessées, lors de ces attaques. Le sous-commissariat de Saint Charles a été incendié et le commissariat de Gressier a été endommagé. Une grande première démonstration des gangs sous le règne de Normil RAMEAU.
Pourchassés par les bandits, les policiers ont repris le contrôle du commissariat de Gressier. Le nouveau CSPN se trouve dans l’obligation de coordonner les actions aux déclarations.
Malgré l’établissement d’un nouveau gouvernement avec un nouveau Premier Ministre intérimaire, en l’occurrence, Garry CONILLE, et des changements effectués à la tête de la Police Nationale d’Haïti avec Normil RAMEAU qui signe son grand retour. Le Chef du Gouvernement avait affirmé, le 26 juin dernier, que l’État va reprendre le contrôle du territoire « maison par maison, quartier par quartier, ville par ville ». Il s’est montré déterminé à récupérer chaque mètre du territoire des mains des gangs mais toujours est-il les actions manquent, alors que les promesses sont multiples.
Le locataire de la Primature, avait demandé à la population de faire preuve de patience, alors que les citoyens quant à eux, sont assoiffés de sécurité. Déjà plus de deux ans que la population haïtienne souffre de tous les maux en raison de ce fléau qui l’endeuille et l’appauvrît .
Les yeux sont fixés sur la force multinationale de sécurité dirigée par le Kenya. La Mission multinationale de soutien et de sécurité est ici pour épauler la PNH mais pas pour faire du tourisme ou des défilés dans les rues juste pour se faire remarquer alors que les bandits armés continuent d’accroître le lot de calamités de la population haïtienne.
Le nouveau gouvernement transitoire, dirigé par Garry CONILLE , doit agir vite car la population ne peut pas attendre plus longtemps, parce que ses attentes sont souvent vaines et désespérées. L’insécurité reste une urgence qui mérite d’avoir des réponses rapides et efficaces, c’est crucial pour le bien-être de la nation haïtienne.
