Clôture de la 14ᵉ édition de la Journée nationale de la diaspora : Un engagement renouvelé entre Haïti et la diaspora haïtienne
Le Premier Ministre, Alix Didier FILS-AIMÉ, a participé, le vendredi 25 avril 2025, à la cérémonie de clôture de la 14ᵉ édition de la Journée nationale de la diaspora. Une cérémonie qui a été organisée à l’hôtel Karibe Convention Center autour du thème : « Diaspora et gouvernance : une participation effective et inclusive ». Lors de cette cérémonie, le Chef de la Primature a profité pour saluer les efforts de la diaspora haïtienne en faveur de l’économie nationale, de la mise en œuvre des projets de développement et de la reconstruction du pays.
Il a egalement profité pour rappeller l’importance de l’unité et de la solidarité nationale face aux défis actuels, tout en soulignant que « le choix, l’expertise et le soutien » des Haïtiens vivant à l’étranger sont essentiels pour construire un avenir meilleur pour Haïti, tout en réaffirmant l’engagement de l’État, en collaboration avec le Conseil Présidentiel de Transition (CPT), à renforcer les liens avec la diaspora par la mise en œuvre de politiques favorisant l’investissement, le transfert de compétences, l’engagement civique et la participation aux affaires publiques.
La cérémonie s’est déroulée en présence de représentants diplomatiques, consulaires, d’organisations internationales et de directeurs généraux d’institutions publiques. Elle a permis de réaffirmer la volonté du gouvernement d’intégrer pleinement la diaspora dans les processus de refondation nationale.
La Primature a souligné que cette journée a permis de poser les bases d’un dialogue inter-haïtien structuré, axé sur la participation effective de la diaspora à la vie publique, aux élections générales à venir et à la gouvernance nationale.
