Le Premier Ministre Alix Didier FILS-AIMÉ a effectué, le mardi 1er juillet 2025, une visite de travail au siège du Conseil Électoral Provisoire (CEP), peut-on lire dans un communiqué de la Primature. Cette visite, précise la Primature, s’est et réalisée dans le cadre du rétablissement de l’autorité de l’État et du retour à l’ordre constitutionnel.
Accompagné du Ministre Délégué chargé des questions électorales et constitutionnelles, Joseph André Gracien JEAN, le Chef du Gouvernement a rencontré le Président du CEP, Patrick SAINT-HILAIRE et l’ensemble des Conseillers électoraux. Les discussions ont porté sur les principales étapes du processus électoral en cours.
Parmi les points abordés, la finalisation du décret référendaire, la publication prochaine du calendrier électoral et l’état de préparation des structures territoriales. Le Premier Ministre a réitéré l’engagement du Conseil Présidentiel de Transition (CPT) et de son Gouvernement à organiser des élections dans un environnement sécurisé. Ils ont aussi parlé de la question budgétaire et ont assuré que les ressources nécessaires seront mobilisées.
De son côté, le CEP a présenté les avancées réalisées, notamment l’installation des Bureaux Électoraux Départementaux (BED) et des Bureaux Référendaires Départementaux (BRD), l’ouverture de locaux pour les bureaux de vote, l’introduction de nouveaux outils technologiques et les résultats préliminaires des récentes visites régionales.
Le Premier Ministre a avancé que la lutte contre l’insécurité reste une priorité nationale, liée à la réussite du processus électoral. Il conclut en appelant à la mobilisation citoyenne, notamment des jeunes et des femmes, en faveur d’un avenir fondé sur la paix et la souveraineté populaire.
