Alors que la crise socio-politique perdure, les acteurs ne sont pas encore parvenus à une solution consensuelle à celle-ci, l’incertitude plane autour de l’échéance du 7 février. En effet, l’échéance constitutionnelle relative à la tenue des premiers tours des élections présidentielles, soit le dernier dimanche du mois d’octobre, est passée comme une lettre à la poste. Plus d’un s’interrogent sur l’avenir politique du pays après le 7 février prochain.
Et si le premier ministre Ariel Henry décide de rester au pouvoir après le 7 février prochain? Se demandent plus d’un avec perplexité. Tout compte fait, le chef du gouvernement est en pôle position pour rester accrocher au pouvoir après cette échéance.
D’un côté, les acteurs politiques de la “soit disant” opposition ne parviennent pas à réunir le maximum de gens possible pour lancer, voire maintenir des mouvements antigouvernementaux. Est-ce un manque de confiance de la population vis-à-vis de ces derniers ou tout simplement parce qu’ils n’ont pas cette capacité? Une chose est certaine, la majorité des acteurs qui répondent au profil de rassembleur sont sous sanctions internationales et, selon nos informations, d’autres le seront dans les prochains jours.
D’un autre côté, des acteurs et partis politiques, habitués à rassembler la masse populaire, sont présentement des principaux alliés du PM De facto Ariel Henry, et gagnent quotidiennement leur pain avec les taxes des paisibles citoyens.
Tous ces constats laissent planer des doutes autour de l’après 7 février 2024. Ajouter à cela, le premier ministre ne fait montre d’aucune volonté à organiser les elections. D’ailleurs, la présidente du Haut Conseil de Transition (HCT), Mirlande Hypolite Manigat avait dénoncé, en des thèmes à peines voilés, ce comportement du chef du gouvernment.
La fin de cette crise politique haïtienne n’est pas pour aujourd’hui, car « ôte-toi de là que je m’y mette » est la phrase la plus répétée à chaque occasion similaire. Pauvre Haiti !
