L’Office National d’Assurance-Vieillesse (ONA) met désormais le cap vers le numérique en signant un accord avec l’IHSI, a annoncé l’institution dans un communiqué.
Un communiqué de presse de l’institution datant du 17 février 2022 parvenu à la rédaction de Clin D’œil Info montre la volonté manifeste du Directeur Général a.i, Jemley Marc Jean Baptiste, afin de mettre l’Office au pas avec la technologie. Un protocole d’accord a été signé le 04 février 2022 entre l’ONA et l’Institut Haïtien de Statistique et d’Informatique (IHSI) à cet effet.
En effet, l’accord signé entre les deux institutions va permettre à l’Office Nationale d’Assurance-Vieillesse de « bénéficier de l’accompagnement et de l’expertise de l’IHSI » dans le cadre de la dématérialisation des procédures et processus des services offerts à ses assurés et pensionnés.
Le Directeur Général de l’IHSI, M. Wilson Fièvre, a exprimé en quelques mots sa satisfaction du fait qu’une institution publique choisisse de se conformer aux normes étatiques en matière de développement technologique.
« Comme stipulé par l’arrêté présidentiel publié au numéro spécial 12 du journal officiel Le Moniteur en date du 1er juillet 2020, l’IHSI a la responsabilité de définir les normes en matière d’innovation et de développement technologiques au sein de l’administration publique. C’est donc notre devoir et notre responsabilité d’accompagner l’ONA dans sa transition numérique », a précisé le Directeur Général.
Pour le Directeur Général a.i de l’ONA , M. Jemley Marc Jean Baptiste, cette transition vers le numérique apportera divers avantages aux assurés actuels et futurs de l’institution. Elle permettra aussi aux employés d’être plus performants dans le cadre de l’accomplissement de leur travail et facilitera la disponibilité en ligne des services d’assurance volontaire.
« Je suis heureux d’annoncer que ce partenariat avec l’IHSI nous permettra de rendre l’assurance volontaire accessible aux haïtiens vivant à l’étranger. Nous savons que beaucoup de nos compatriotes avaient un plan d’assurance obligatoire avant d’émigrer et beaucoup d’entre eux désirent garder leur plan d’assurance et surtout profiter des avantages qui y sont liés », a fait savoir M. Jean Baptiste.
Le communiqué précise qu’avec cet accord paraphé par les deux institutions étatiques, « ce programme entre désormais dans sa phase de finalisation et les avantages qui en découleront seront rapidement bénéfiques aux actuels assurés et aux futurs souscripteurs ».
Pour rappel, La transition numérique au sein de l’ONA était lancée en 2020, mais grâce au dynamisme du DG a.i. de l’institution, M. Jemley Marc Jean Baptiste, ce projet est finalement sur le point de voir le jour.
