Raoul Pierre-Louis, ancien président du Conseil d’administration de la Banque Nationale de Crédit (BNC), a de nouveau choisi de faire défaut, ce mardi 17 septembre. Alors que les Conseillers-Présidents accusés se sont présentés aux enquêteurs pour confronter leur accusateur.
Malgré les injonctions répétées de l’Unité de Lutte contre la Corruption (ULCC),
Raoul Pierre-Louis, ancien président du Conseil d’administration de la Banque Nationale de Crédit (BNC), a refusé pour la deuxième fois de se présenter à une convocation de l’Unité de Lutte contre la Corruption (ULCC), où il devait confronter trois conseillers qu’il accuse d’extorsion.
Son absence constitue une violation de la loi sur la corruption, retardant l’éclaircissement des accusations portées. Le refus de M. Pierre-Louis de confronter les conseillers Smith AUGUSTIN, Emmanuel VERTILAIRE et Louis Gérald Gilles qu’il accuse d’avoir tenté de lui extorquer la somme de 100 millions de gourdes en échange de sa reconduction à la tête de la banque porte à équivoque.
Cette absence volontaire place l’ex-président du Conseil d’administration en infraction avec l’article 21 de la loi sur la corruption. La séance de confrontation devait permettre d’éclaircir les divergences dans les déclarations des deux parties et de faire toute la lumière sur ces accusations pour le moins sérieuses.
Le loi sur la corruption prévoit des sanctions pour les corrupteurs ainsi que les corrompus. L’ULCC est déterminée à éclaircir ce dossier, le président du Conseil d’administration de la BNC reste le point de blocage de l’aboutissement de l’enquête déjà en cours. Alors que ce sont les Conseillers-Présidents qui devraient esquivés la justice mais la victime d’extorsion évite à tout prix de prouver que les trois Conseillers-présidents lui ont rançonnés.
