L’ancien chef du gang 400 Marozo, Germine Joly, également connu sous le nom de Yonyon, a pointé du doigt sur l’ancien sénateur de l’Ouest Jean Renel Senatus, qui dit-il à l’habitude de lui fournir des armes, selon le journal floridien Miami Herald. L’ancien parlementaire a quant lui démenti les accusations portées à son encontre via son compte X.
Détenu aux États-Unis, lors de son interrogatoire par devant un juge fédéral américain, le puissant caïd dénommé Yonyon a avoué avoir reçu des armes afin d’aider l’ancien Commissaire du Gouvernement de Port-au-Prince, Jean Renel Sénatus. Selon ses dires, ce dernier lui avait distribué des armes lors de sa campagne électorale sénatoriale en 2014. Le sénateur quant à lui, dit avoir empêché la libération du chef de gang en 2018, puisque, selon ses déclarations, Germine Joly a proposé 15 000 dollars en échange de sa libération.
L’ancien Chef du parquet de la capitale a aussi informé qu’il a même tenu tête avec l’ancien président Jovenel Moïse, qui voulait aussi mettre le bandit en liberté.
Jean Renel Sénatus révèle qu’il a même transféré 23 policiers du commissariat de Ganthier qui avaient des liens avec le gang 400 Marozo dirigé par Yonyon qui siège dans les Communes de la Croix-des-Bouquets, Thomazeau et Ganthier.
Il convient de souligner que le tribunal fédéral prononce la sentence de Yonyon le 24 juin dernier. Il a déjà plaidé coupable et promet de collaborer avec la justice américaine. Les procureurs fédéraux américains ont même réclamé la prison à vie à son encontre notamment pour son implication dans l’enlèvement suivi de séquestration de 16 citoyens américains en octobre 2021.
