Journée de la fonction publique : Le Premier Ministre rend hommage aux agents de l’État et annonce des réformes
À l’occasion de la Journée mondiale de la fonction publique, le 23 juin 2025, le Premier Ministre Alix Didier FILS-AIMÉ a salué l’engagement des fonctionnaires haïtiens lors d’une cérémonie organisée à l’Hôtel Montana, sous l’égide de l’Office de Management et des Ressources Humaines (OMRH).
Placée sous le thème « Des fonctionnaires engagés au service d’une administration publique haïtienne innovante et performante », cette journée a réuni plusieurs personnalités de l’administration, dont des membres du gouvernement, des hauts fonctionnaires et des directeurs généraux.
Dans son discours, le Chef du Gouvernement a rendu hommage à ces agents publics souvent en première ligne, mais peu reconnus. Il a appelé à l’instauration d’une nouvelle culture administrative, basée sur la transparence, la créativité et la proximité avec les citoyens.
Le Premier Ministre a également souligné que la modernisation de l’administration publique est une priorité pour son gouvernement. Il s’est engagé à renforcer la sécurité dans les institutions, améliorer les conditions de travail et mettre à disposition des outils modernes adaptés aux besoins actuels de l’État.
Prenant la parole, Madelain FILS-AIMÉ, Coordonnateur Général de l’OMRH, a salué la ténacité des fonctionnaires.
« Ils sont les gardiens silencieux du service public », a-t-il déclaré, insistant sur les valeurs d’intégrité et d’efficacité.
De son côté, Stéphanie SAINT-LOUIS, représentante du Ministère de la Culture, a livré un témoignage sur le quotidien des agents publics.
« Servir, c’est persévérer, même dans l’ombre », a-t-elle affirmé, évoquant un environnement souvent difficile, où les ressources manquent, mais où l’engagement demeure.
Le Ministère des Affaires Étrangères était aussi de la partie, par son employé de l’année, en la personne de Sabine BEAUDOUIN,
Le Chef de la Primature a conclu son intervention en rappelant les grands chantiers en cours, notamment le référendum constitutionnel et la préparation des élections générales. Il a souligné que les fonctionnaires joueront un rôle clé dans ces processus, tant dans leur organisation que dans leur encadrement.
