Haiti-Société: Lancement du forum national des organisations de la société civile par le Premier ministre Garry CONILLE
Le Premier ministre, Dr Garry CONILLE, a inauguré officiellement le forum national des organisations de la société civile, ce jeudi 27 juin 2024, qui se déroule sur deux jours, sous le thème « Participation des jeunes et des femmes dans le processus transitionnel en cours ».
Dans son allocution d’ouverture, le Premier ministre a rendu hommage au rôle crucial des femmes et des jeunes dans le processus de transition actuel. Face aux défis complexes, il a appelé les réseaux d’organisations de femmes et de jeunes à s’engager pleinement et à soutenir activement le gouvernement pour mobiliser au moins 50% de la population en faveur du succès de cette transition.
« Les jeunes et les femmes de notre pays ne sont pas seulement l’avenir, mais le présent d’Haïti », a souligné le Premier ministre, mettant en lumière leur représentation majoritaire dans la population et leur résilience face aux défis. Il a également souligné le rôle crucial des organisations de la société civile en tant que gardiennes des valeurs démocratiques, défenseurs des droits de l’homme et agents de changement social.
Les intervenants, lors de la cérémonie d’ouverture, incluant le Conseiller-Président Frinel JOSEPH, la représentante spéciale adjointe du Secrétaire Général des Nations unies en Haïti, Ulrika Richardson, le représentant spécial du secrétaire général de l’OEA, Cristobal DUPOUY, et le Directeur Exécutif du VDH, Arnoux DESCARDES, ont tous unanimement souligné l’importance capitale de l’intégration effective des jeunes et des femmes pour assurer le succès de la transition conformément à l’Accord politique pour une transition pacifique et ordonnée de 2024.
