La Police Nationale d’Haïti (PNH) a appréhendé trois individus à Saint-Marc, dans le département de l’Artibonite : Mervilus Judel, alias « Anperè », Raymond JULMEUS et Fritz POULARD, alias « Blan ». Ces arrestations s’inscrivent dans le cadre de la lutte contre l’insécurité dans la région.
Les deux premiers, Mervilus JUDEL et Raymond JULMEUS, sont accusés de liens présumés avec des gangs armés opérant dans la région. Mervilus JUDEL, originaire de Petite-Rivière de l’Artibonite, est soupçonné d’appartenir au gang de Palmiste, dirigé par un certain Jonas. Quant à Raymond JULMEUS, il est accusé de participer aux activités du gang de Gran Grif, une organisation criminelle bien connue dans la zone de Savien.
Fritz POULARD, alias « Blan », a pour sa part reconnu, lors de son audition, avoir utilisé des armes illégales pour commettre divers actes criminels. Son arrestation illustre la détermination des autorités à lutter contre les pratiques criminelles dans la région.
Depuis plusieurs semaines, la Police Nationale d’Haïti intensifie ses efforts pour contrer les activités des malfaiteurs et restaurer la sécurité dans les zones affectées par les gangs.
