Haïti-Santé : réouverture de l’Hôpital Chancerelles, Un nouveau souffle pour les familles
L’Hôpital Chancerelles, également connu sous le nom de maternité Isaïe JEANTY et Léon AUDAIN, a rouvert ses portes ce lundi 2 décembre 2024, après neuf mois de fermeture. Cette réouverture a été menée par le Ministre de la Santé Publique et de la Population, Dr Duckenson Lorthe BLEMA, avec le soutien de l’organisation ALIMA (Alliance for International Medical Action) et d’autres partenaires.
Ce retour en activité marque une avancée majeure pour les familles haïtiennes, en particulier les femmes enceintes. Elles pourront à nouveau bénéficier de soins de qualité et accoucher dans un environnement sécurisé. Cette initiative vise à réduire les complications périnatales et à faire baisser la mortalité maternelle et infantile, deux priorités dans le domaine de la santé publique.
Lors de la cérémonie officielle, le ministre a lancé un appel à l’engagement collectif pour renforcer le système de santé. Il a insisté sur l’importance de travailler ensemble pour offrir des soins accessibles à tous. Selon lui, la réouverture de Chancerelles est une étape clé dans le processus de relance des infrastructures sanitaires en Haïti.
Avec cette réouverture, l’Hôpital Chancerelles devient un symbole d’espoir et de résilience. Il reflète la détermination du gouvernement à répondre aux besoins essentiels de la population malgré les défis structurels. Ce geste représente bien plus qu’un simple projet médical : il incarne une promesse de renouveau pour le système de santé haïtien.
