Ené VAL interpelle le MTPTC sur la dégradation de la route Saint-Raphaël-Saint-Michel
Dans une lettre ouverte adressée au Ministre des Travaux Publics, Transports et Communications (MTPTC), le juriste et politologue Ené VAL a dénoncé la dégradation avancée de la route reliant Saint-Raphaël, Saint-Michel, Ennery et l’Artibonite. Il souligne l’importance vitale de ce tronçon pour la région et alerte sur les dangers croissants liés à sa détérioration rapide.
M. VAL dépeint une situation alarmante où la chaussée, soumise à un trafic intense de poids lourds, se dégrade rapidement, provoquant de nombreux accidents. La route, non adaptée pour supporter des charges aussi lourdes, se transforme en piège pour les véhicules qui s’enlisent fréquemment dans la boue, causant des embouteillages interminables. Les conséquences sont graves, avec des pertes en vies humaines et des dégâts matériels considérables, affectant tant les transporteurs que les habitants locaux.
Dans sa correspondance, VAL exhorte le ministère à intervenir d’urgence pour entreprendre des travaux de réhabilitation. Il insiste sur la nécessité de sécuriser cette route vitale, non seulement pour garantir la fluidité du trafic, mais aussi pour protéger les citoyens qui l’empruntent quotidiennement, qu’ils soient conducteurs, passagers ou simples piétons. Selon lui, cette intervention est une question de vie ou de mort pour de nombreux Haïtiens.
Au-delà de l’urgence immédiate, VAL appelle à une réflexion plus large sur la gestion des infrastructures en Haïti. Il plaide pour une décentralisation effective des services publics, affirmant que la concentration excessive des ressources à Port-au-Prince contribue à la marginalisation des régions comme l’Artibonite. Il rappelle que tous les citoyens, où qu’ils se trouvent, ont droit à la protection et aux services de l’État, et que cette décentralisation est essentielle pour un développement équilibré du pays.
Cette lettre, également adressée au Conseil Présidentiel de Transition et au Premier ministre Dr Garry Conille, met en lumière les défis cruciaux auxquels est confrontée l’infrastructure routière en Haïti. Par cette initiative, Ené VAL réitère l’urgence d’une action gouvernementale résolue pour remédier à ces défaillances, avec l’espoir que cette démarche incite les autorités à agir promptement et efficacement pour répondre aux besoins des populations affectées.
