Le Ministre Délégué auprès du Premier ministre chargé de la Solidarité et des Affaires Humanitaires, Herwil GASPARD, a entamé, le mercredi 19 mars 2025, une série de visites de terrain dans les sites de déplacés internes à Delmas et dans la région métropolitaine. Cette initiative vise à améliorer l’efficacité de l’assistance gouvernementale en ajustant les interventions aux besoins spécifiques des populations vulnérables.
Accompagné de son équipe et de partenaires humanitaires, le ministre GASPARD a pris le temps d’échanger avec les déplacés internes, principalement des personnes ayant fui la violence des gangs. Lors de ces rencontres, les victimes de la crise ont exprimé leurs préoccupations et les difficultés qu’elles rencontrent au quotidien. Ces échanges sont essentiels pour ajuster les actions du gouvernement aux réalités du terrain.
Parmi les mesures annoncées, le ministre a révélé la mise en place d’une étude sociodémographique impliquant une centaine de jeunes. Cette étude aura pour objectif de mieux cerner les besoins immédiats des déplacés, tout en renforçant leur autonomie et leur résilience. Les résultats permettront de formuler des réponses plus ciblées et adaptées à cette crise humanitaire.
En parallèle, le gouvernement a promis de prendre des mesures urgentes pour améliorer les conditions de vie des déplacés internes. Cela inclut des actions concrètes visant à répondre aux besoins essentiels des populations vulnérables dans les sites d’accueil.
Dans un contexte marqué par une exaspération croissante, le gouvernement appelle au calme et à la vigilance. Il réaffirme sa volonté de collaborer étroitement avec les organisations humanitaires pour trouver des solutions durables à cette crise. Le ministre Gaspard a également assuré aux déplacés qu’il reste pleinement attentif à leur bien-être.
