Cheffe Leen EXCELLENT : Ambassadrice de la gastronomie haïtienne en route vers un record mondial
La cheffe Leenchee EXCELLENT, figure montante de la cuisine haïtienne, est en passe d’inscrire son nom dans l’histoire en s’attaquant à un défi de taille : battre le record Guinness du plus long marathon culinaire. Lancé le 7 avril 2025, ce marathon hors du commun s’étalera jusqu’au 15 avril, totalisant 192 heures de cuisine ininterrompue. Une prouesse qui braque les projecteurs du monde entier sur les saveurs et la richesse du terroir haïtien.
À travers cet exploit, Leen EXCELLENT ne se contente pas de cuisiner mais elle raconte une histoire, celle d’une gastronomie vivante, généreuse et profondément enracinée dans l’identité haïtienne. Riz national, tassot, soupe au giraumon, tchaka… Chaque plat devient un acte de mémoire, un geste de résistance, une déclaration d’amour à la culture créole.
L’initiative a rapidement trouvé un écho sur les réseaux sociaux, en particulier sur TikTok, où des milliers de soutiens affluent : artistes, influenceurs, personnalités publiques, mais aussi anonymes de la diaspora et de l’île. Le Ministère haïtien du Tourisme a salué, dans un communiqué officiel, le courage et la détermination de la cheffe, tout comme la Primature, qui voit en elle un symbole d’excellence, de créativité féminine afrodescendante et de fierté nationale.
Plus qu’un simple record, c’est un élan collectif que Leen incarne. À travers elle, c’est toute une nation qui cuisine, espère et célèbre son héritage. Le public, en Haïti comme à l’étranger, est invité à suivre cette aventure exceptionnelle, à la partager, et à soutenir cette cheffe qui fait rayonner Haïti, une bouchée à la fois.
