Les habitants de Petit-Trou-de-Nippes ont assisté, le lundi 17 février 2025, à l’inauguration officielle de leur nouveau centre de santé, un établissement visant à renforcer l’accès aux soins dans la région. Alix Didier FILS-AIMÉ, du Ministre de la Santé Publique et de la Population, Dr Bertrand Sinal, de la Ministre à la Condition féminine et aux Droits des Femmes, Mme Pédrica SAINT JEAN, ainsi que de nombreuses autorités locales et nationales.
Lors de son discours, le Premier Ministre a insisté sur l’importance des déterminants sociaux de la santé, soulignant que l’amélioration des infrastructures, de l’éducation et de l’accès à l’eau potable sont des éléments essentiels à un système de santé performant. Il a réaffirmé l’engagement du gouvernement à investir dans ces secteurs pour améliorer les conditions de vie des citoyens.
De son côté, le Dr Bertrand Sinal a mis en avant l’importance de renforcer la prévention en santé publique. Il a salué l’ouverture de ce centre comme un jalon essentiel pour le lancement de programmes de sensibilisation et de soins adaptés aux besoins spécifiques de la population locale. Le Ministre a également encouragé la population à adopter une approche préventive face aux maladies, soulignant que la prévention est un levier clé pour améliorer durablement la santé publique.
Au-delà de son rôle médical, ce nouveau centre symbolise également un progrès et une résilience pour Petit-Trou-de-Nippes.
