Le Palais national a vibré au rythme d’une cérémonie solennelle ce mardi 20 août 2024, marquant un moment clé dans l’histoire des Forces Armées d’Haïti. Le Président du Conseil présidentiel de transition a pris la parole sur son compte X pour partager cette annonce : « Aujourd’hui, au Palais national, j’ai eu l’honneur d’épingler le grade de Lieutenant général au citoyen Derby GUERRIER, à l’occasion de son installation en tant que nouveau Commandant en chef a.i. des Forces Armées d’Haïti.»
Cet événement historique a rassemblé de nombreuses personnalités éminentes, ainsi que des membres des forces armées, venus témoigner de leur soutien indéfectible au nouveau leader. Au cours de la cérémonie, Derby GUERRIER a solennellement prêté serment, réaffirmant son engagement profond envers le service et la protection de la nation haïtienne.
