La Police Nationale d’Haïti (PNH) a présenté officiellement le Lieutenant Jhunie Laura GANEME et le Commissaire Jack OMBAKA comme porte-paroles des Forces Armées d’Haïti (FAD’H) et de la Mission Multinationale de Soutien à la Sécurité (MSS), lors d’une conférence de presse tenue ce lundi 2 septembre 2024 à Clercine. L’annonce a été faite par le Commissaire Divisionnaire Michel Ange Louis Jeune, porte-parole de la PNH.
Durant cette rencontre, le Commissaire Louis Jeune a également informé sur les opérations policières en cours dans les quartiers de Bel-Air et Solino, lancées depuis le 27 août 2024. Un rapport détaillé est attendu prochainement.
Ces opérations, menées avec efficacité, résultent d’une collaboration étroite entre les Forces Armées d’Haïti, la Mission Multinationale, et les unités spécialisées de la PNH. Le porte-parole a souligné que l’objectif principal est de reprendre les zones occupées par les gangs criminels, de neutraliser ces derniers, et de protéger les vies et biens des citoyens.
Il a précisé que les interventions se concentrent actuellement sur les quartiers de Bas-Delmas, Bel-Air, Fort National et Solino. Déjà, certaines zones comme Fort National sont sous contrôle, et la circulation à Bas-Delmas commence à reprendre.
Plusieurs criminels sont neutralisés, des armes saisies, et des arrestations sont effectuées. Les policiers blessés lors de ces opérations ont reçu les soins nécessaires et sont désormais hors de danger.
Le Commissaire Louis Jeune a conclu en affirmant que la PNH, en collaboration avec la population, est déterminée à rétablir la sécurité sur tout le territoire national.
