Sebastian NOISY, âgé de 25 ans et fils de l’acteur et réalisateur haïtien Smoye NOISY, est décédé en Floride à la suite d’une intervention policière ce week-end à Pembroke Pines, selon NBC 6 South Florida et plusieurs autres médias locaux. L’incident s’est produit samedi, lorsque des policiers ont été appelés à intervenir après qu’il a pénétré sur une propriété privée.
D’après les autorités, la police a reçu un appel signalant qu’une personne s’était introduite sur une propriété privée avant de se rendre dans un marécage peu développé, situé au 20200 block de Pembroke Road. À leur arrivée, les officiers ont trouvé Noisy marchant dans le marécage, une zone habitée par une faune dangereuse, et affichant un comportement jugé étrange.
Les policiers ont tenté de dialoguer avec lui, mais il est devenu agité et a refusé de suivre les instructions données. En vain, un agent a utilisé du gaz lacrymogène pour tenter de le maîtriser. Lorsque cela n’a pas fonctionné, un taser a été déployé. Après avoir été touché, Noisy a été transporté en ambulance à l’hôpital, mais a succombé trois heures après son admission.
L’incident a été pris en charge par le Département de la Sécurité Publique de Floride, qui mène une enquête pour déterminer les causes exactes de sa mort, une procédure standard dans de tels cas. Smoye Noisy a confirmé la triste nouvelle à l’agence en ligne Haïti Infos Pro, en précisant que le défunt était bien son fils, tout en indiquant qu’il ne disposait pas de plus de détails sur cet événement tragique, étant en Haïti au moment des faits.
