Haïti-Diplomatie : Le Président du CPT Leslie VOLTAIRE en tournée en Europe pour renforcer la coopération internationale
Dans un communiqué, la Présidence a annoncé que le Président du Conseil Présidentiel de Transition (CPT), Son Excellence Monsieur Leslie VOLTAIRE, sera en tournée officielle en Europe du 25 au 31 janvier 2025. Cette visite stratégique le conduira en France et au Vatican, accompagné d’une délégation de haut niveau. L’objectif principal de cette tournée est de renforcer la coopération internationale et de mobiliser un soutien crucial face aux défis actuels du pays.
Lors de son séjour en France, le Président VOLTAIRE rencontrera son homologue Emmanuel MACRON pour discuter de plusieurs enjeux cruciaux, notamment la sécurité, l’assistance humanitaire et la relance économique.
Il sera également reçu par le Pape François au Vatican, soulignant ainsi l’importance de l’appui moral et humanitaire dans cette période difficile pour Haïti. Ces entretiens visent à établir des partenariats concrets pour aider Haïti à sortir de la crise.
Cette tournée en Europe s’inscrit dans la feuille de route stratégique du CPT, qui repose sur trois axes prioritaires. Le premier axe concerne le rétablissement de la sécurité et la lutte contre la crise humanitaire.
Face aux violences des gangs et à l’instabilité persistante, Haïti cherche un soutien international pour renforcer ses capacités de défense et assurer la protection de sa population.
Le deuxième axe porte sur la réforme institutionnelle et la restauration de la démocratie. L’organisation d’élections générales est essentielle pour redonner au pays des institutions stables et crédibles.
Par ailleurs, la modernisation de la gouvernance et le renforcement de l’État de droit figurent parmi les priorités pour garantir un avenir durable et structuré.
Enfin, la tournée du Président VOLTAIRE constitue un appel à la solidarité internationale. Accompagné du Ministre des Affaires Étrangères, Jean-Victor Harvel JEAN-BAPTISTE, il rencontrera des représentants d’organisations internationales pour concrétiser des engagements en faveur du développement d’Haïti.
Cette initiative illustre la volonté du Gouvernement haïtien de bâtir des partenariats solides pour assurer la sécurité, soutenir la population et poser les bases d’une reconstruction durable.
