Le MCI lance la 5e cohorte du PAPEJ avec jusqu’à 2 millions de gourdes pour les jeunes entrepreneurs
Le Ministère du Commerce et de l’Industrie (MCI), à travers le Programme d’Appui à l’Entrepreneuriat Jeunesse (PAPEJ), a lancé, hier mercredi 13 mai 2026, un appel à manifestation d’intérêt, en vue de former la cinquième cohorte de bénéficiaires du programme. Cette initiative vise à accompagner les jeunes entrepreneurs haïtiens souhaitant créer, renforcer ou développer des entreprises innovantes et durables.
Selon l’avis du MCI, ce concours de plans d’affaires prévoit un mécanisme de financement adapté, accompagné d’un encadrement technique. L’objectif est de soutenir des projets capables de contribuer à la création d’emplois et à la relance des activités économiques dans le pays.
Le programme cible principalement les jeunes évoluant dans des secteurs productifs comme l’agro-industrie, la biotechnologie, la mécanique, la manufacture et les industries de transformation. Les entreprises ou regroupements d’entrepreneurs présentant des projets jugés viables pourront bénéficier d’un financement allant jusqu’à deux millions de gourdes.
Les fonds accordés pourront servir à l’achat d’équipements, de matières premières, à l’aménagement de locaux ou encore au développement des activités de production.
Toutefois, ledit Ministère a précisé que les projets sélectionnés seront soumis aux partenaires financiers après validation de la coordination du PAPEJ. Toutefois, l’octroi du financement dépendra du respect des critères d’éligibilité ainsi que des évaluations techniques, financières et économiques des plans d’affaires.
Pour être admissibles, les projets devront proposer une idée innovante, présenter un potentiel de création d’emplois et être portés par des entrepreneurs âgés de moins de 40 ans.
Le programme accorde également une priorité aux entreprises collectives réunissant au moins cinq personnes et mettant en valeur les produits locaux. Les candidats devront présenter des besoins de financement compris entre 50 000 et 2 millions de gourdes, tout en développant des activités respectueuses de l’environnement et conformes aux exigences de formalisation des entreprises.
