Violence armée: le Conseiller-Président Fritz Alphonse JEAN applaudit les forces de l’ordre dans les réponses décisives contre les gangs
Le conseiller-président Fritz Alphonse Jean a mis en avant, les progrès réalisés par les forces de l’ordre dans leur mission visant à rétablir la sécurité et la stabilité en Haïti. Il a ainsi salué la détermination des forces de sécurité face aux gangs criminels qui, depuis près d’une décennie, plongent le pays dans une spirale de violence.
Dans un communiqué daté le lundi 16 décembre, Fritz Alphonse JEAN appuie la collaboration entre la population et la Police Nationale d’Haïti qui, dit-il, reste le fondement de la meilleure stratégie pour éradiquer les réseaux criminels. Il encourage ce mariage Police-population qui porte ses fruits dans la lutte contre l’insécurité et la violence armée.
Il a souligné des avancées importantes enregistrées dans le département de l’Artibonite ces derniers jours. Après des affrontements prolongés, les forces de l’ordre ont repris le contrôle de zones critiques, notamment Palmis, Makès, Séguy et Robuste. Ces succès opérationnels démontrent, selon Fritz alphonse JEAN, la capacité des autorités à reprendre l’initiative face à l’insécurité grandissante qui prévaut.
Le gouvernement, a-t-il ajouté, reste pleinement engagé à soutenir la PNH en leur fournissant les ressources nécessaires pour poursuivre leurs offensive. « Nous devons maintenir la pression jusqu’à ce que la sécurité soit rétablie de manière durable », a-t-il insisté, tout en appelant à une mobilisation collective de toutes les couches de la société dans cette lutte intense.
Ces avancées encourageantes, s’inscrivent dans une démarche plus large visant à garantir une paix pérenne à travers tout le territoire national. Pour Fritz Alphonse JEAN, chaque localité reprise symbolise un pas vers une Haïti unie, où les citoyens pourront vivre en toute sérénité. « La lutte est loin d’être terminée, mais nous avançons dans la bonne direction », a-t-il conclu dans la note.
