Les États-Unis ont refoulé 66 migrants haïtiens sur le sol haïtien ce jeudi 31 août 2023. L’ambassade américaine en Haïti dit avoir trouvé l’approbation du Premier Ministre haïtien, Dr Ariel Henry pour le rapatriement de ces ressortissants haïtiens. Une information rapportée par l’agence Ayibopost. Alors que le chef du CSPN, est incapable de garantir la sécurité et stopper la vague de violence des groupes armés dans le pays, il continue de prouver son incapacité dans ses décisions abracadabrantes visant la protection des haïtiens en terre étrangère.
Alors que le pays fait face à une escalade de violence à nulle autre pareille le chef du gouvernement se montre incapable de défendre le droit même des haïtiens de l’extérieur qui ont du fuir les violences des gangs pour sauver leurs peaux.
C’est dans ce contexte d’urgence sécuritaire et humanitaire, que les États-Unis ont rapatrié plus d’une soixantaine de citoyens haïtiens. L’ambassade américaine en Haïti a fait savoir qu’elle a reçu, en date du 28 août dernier, une correspondance signée du bureau du Premier ministre de facto donnant feu vert au gouvernement américain de refouler ces compatriotes haïtiens, selon ce qu’a révélé Ayibopost. Les autorités diplomatiques américaines informent que le gouvernement haitien a toujours autorisé la déportation planifiée vers Haïti.
Plus de 25.000 personnes habitant à Carrefour-Feuilles sont obligées de se réfugier dans divers abris en raison des gangs armés de Grand-Ravine, qui lancent des attaques récurrentes dans cette zone. Le gouvernement n’a, jusqu’à date, fait montre sa volonté de permettre à ces déplacés de regagner leur maison.
Les États-Unis se sont montrés conscients de la crise sécuritaire qui prévaut en Haïti. Selon eux, la majorité des armes qui alimente la violence dans le pays provient des États-Unis.
