La Police Nationale d’Haïti (PNH), en coordination avec la Mission Multinationale d’Appui à la Sécurité (MMAS), a présenté, lors d’une conférence de presse, ce mardi 26 août 2025, dans les locaux de la Direction Générale à Clercine 8, les résultats d’une importante opération menée au site de Téléco, à Kenscoff, alors sous le contrôle de la coalition criminelle « Viv Ansanm ». L’opération, qui a duré plusieurs heures et ayant été marquée par des échanges de tirs avec les assaillants, a permis de saisir un arsenal significatif.
Le porte-parole de la PNH, le Commissaire Divisionnaire Michel Ange LOUIS JEUNE, a détaillé les armes et munitions récupérées, qui étaient entre les mains de gangs armés semant la terreur dans la région.
Parmi les armes saisies figurent un fusil Kalashnikov AK-47 (numéro de série MA 24 991-14), trois fusils M16 trafiqués aux numéros effacés, un fusil Galil AC-22 de fabrication israélienne (numéro 43-10-28-84) et un fusil M4 Bosch Master américain (numéro BR-560-11-17).
La PNH a saisi un total de 17 chargeurs de différents calibres : six pour fusil M4 (5,56 mm), un pour AK-47 (7,62×39 mm), deux pour Galil AC-22 (7,36 mm), sept pour M14 (7,62×51 mm) et un pour pistolet 9 mm. L’opération a également permis de confisquer trois grenades lacrymogènes, ainsi que deux dispositifs de radio communication Motorola, modèles DP-450 et Ion-10W IP-67.
En termes de munitions, 1 524 cartouches ont été saisies, dont 727 pour calibre 5,56×45 mm, 796 pour calibre 7,62×39 mm et une pour un autre type d’arme de guerre.
Ce bilan constitue la première saisie importante de matériel sous le commandement de André Jonas Vladimir PARAISON, installé à la tête de la PNH depuis plus de quinze jours.
