Selon le magazine américain Forbes, Haïti est classé troisième parmi les 10 pays avec les uniformes olympiques de la cérémonie d’ouverture qui ont le mieux réussi à équilibrer le style, les symboles et couleurs nationaux traditionnels, les tendances sportswear et la haute couture.
La cérémonie d’ouverture, des jeux olympiques de Paris 2024, s’est tenue, hier vendredi 26 juillet 2024. Bien avant le défilé mondial, Haïti a déjà capté l’attention. Le magazine Forbes publie le classement des pays les plus sappés dans leur style: 1) Taïwan 2)Mongolie 3)Haïti 4)Canada
5)USA 6)Sierra Leone 7)France 8)Grande-Bretagne 9)Pays-Bas et 10)Australie.
La délégation haïtienne est arrivée à la cérémonie d’ouverture avec classe et élégance. Avec un accoutrement original, et hors du commun, le peintre et sculpteur Philippe DODARD et la créatrice engagée Stella JEAN sont derrière cette réalisation. Les tenues arborent des œuvres de l’artiste haïtien Philippe Dodard, inspirées de sa pièce « Passage ».
Les jeux olympiques ont toujours été l’occasion d’assister à des performances de haut niveau, surtout une façon de s’inspirer des nouveaux looks des sportifs. Avec leurs uniformes, la délégation attire déjà l’attention.
À rappeler que les JO Paris 2024 se dérouleront du 26 juillet au 11 août 2024. La délégation haïtienne est composée de 7 athlètes talentueux dans 5 disciplines différentes, à savoir la natation, l’athlétisme, la boxe, la gymnastique artistique et le judo.
Cedricks Belony-Duliepre, Lynnzee Ellise Brown, Philippe-Abels Metellus, Christopher Bozor, Mayah Ruth Chouloute, Emilia Andrea Chatfield et Alexandre Succès Grand’Pierre sont les ambassadeurs du bicolore national lors de cette 33ème Olympiade.
