Depuis quelques temps, le pays traverse une crise socio-politique à nulle autre pareille caractérisée notamment par le dysfonctionnement des pouvoirs politiques. A celle-ci s’ajoute la violence accrue des gangs armés qui oblige l’haïtien à abandonner son domicile. En effet, l’insécurité qui bat son plein constitue la plus grande menace chez les citoyens car, beaucoup de zones sont sous l’emprise des gangs armés qui dictent leur loi, violent, tuent, brûlent des maisons.
Martissant, quartier de terreur!!!
Depuis plusieurs années, il est difficile de circuler librement à Martissant. S’il est vrai qu’un calme aparrant, facilitant la circulation se fait sentir; néanmoins, les chauffeurs qui empruntent cet axe routier sont assujettis à un « droit de passage » au risque d’être kidnappés.
Canaan et ses environs…
C’est le même panorama pour d’autres coins de la zone métropolitaine de Port-au-Prince comme Canaan, cette banlieue de la localité de Bon Repos; commune de la Croix-des-bouquets où la bande à Patrick, y impose sa loi. Ils tuent, volent et violent comme bon leur semble. Ce qui entrave la communication entre le Grand Nord et le département de l’Ouest, passant par ce axe routier.
L’Artibonite et ses communes
Le département de l’Artibonite est, depuis quelques années, sous l’influence de gangs qui y ont instauré un climat de terreur, caractérisé par des pillages, des cas d’assassinat, d’enlèvements de détournements de camion de marchandise entre autres…
Plusieurs communes et grandes villes dudit département dont Liancourt, Verrettes, Petite-Rivière de l’Artibonite et L’Estère n’échappent pas à ce fléau.
La situation d’insécurité qui règne en Haïti est intenable! Plus d’un pointent du doigt les autorités étatiques qu’ils accusent d’être de mèche avec les foyers de gang. D’où, selon eux, le manque de volonté politique à palier ce problème.
