Infrastructures : Le MTPTC dévoile ses grands chantiers pour 2025

Lors de la 11e édition des Mardis de la Nation, le Ministre des Travaux Publics, Transports et Communications (MTPTC), Raphaël HOSTY, a présenté un vaste programme d’infrastructures visant à moderniser les routes, les aéroports et plusieurs zones urbaines du pays. Ce plan, financé à hauteur de 23 milliards de gourdes, concerne l’ensemble des départements et vise à stimuler l’économie tout en réduisant les inégalités territoriales.

 

Parmi les projets phares, le Ministre a mentionné les travaux en cours à l’aéroport du Cap-Haïtien, notamment la réhabilitation de la piste et de la route d’accès, soutenus par la Banque Mondiale. Des études techniques sont également en cours pour la modernisation de l’aéroport international des Cayes.

Côté infrastructures routières, plusieurs projets sont en cours d’exécution dans des zones enclavées, dont Artibonite, Anse-Rouge, Port-de-Paix, Jean-Rabel, Haut-du-Cap et Barrière-Bouteille, avec le soutien de la Banque Interaméricaine de Développement (BID). Des interventions sont également signalées à Hinche, Trou-du-Nord, Ennery, Jacmel et Marigot.

À l’approche de la saison cyclonique, le MTPTC annonce, par ailleurs, des travaux de curage dans la zone métropolitaine, en particulier à Cité Soleil, pour limiter les risques d’inondations et renforcer la résilience urbaine.
« Le développement passe par des infrastructures modernes et accessibles », a conclu le Ministre HOSTY.
