Haïti-Santé : 70 nouvelles héroïnes en blouse blanche nommées par le MSPP
Le Ministère de la Santé Publique et de la Population (MSPP) a procédé, ce mercredi 6 août 2025, à la nomination de 70 jeunes infirmières dont les 25 lauréates des examens d’État de 2023 et 2024, lors d’une cérémonie, tenue à la Primature. Il s’agit d’une approche fondée sur le mérite, l’excellence et l’engagement en faveur du renforcement du système de santé haïtien.
La Directrice des soins infirmiers du MSPP, Karine R. JEAN-BAPTISTE, a ouvert la cérémonie en saluant le parcours remarquable de ces jeunes professionnelles. Elle a souligné que cette reconnaissance n’aurait pas été possible sans l’implication du Ministre de la Santé, du Premier Ministre et du Conseil Présidentiel de Transition (CPT).
« Infirmière un jour, infirmière toujours », a-t-elle conclu, en guise de clin d’œil à la profession.
Porte-parole des nommées, Analine LUCCIUS a rappelé les démarches entreprises depuis novembre 2023 auprès du ministère. Elle a salué la promesse tenue par la Direction des soins infirmiers et remercié tout particulièrement le docteur Alex LARSÈNE, qu’elle a qualifié de pionnier de cette initiative. Pour elle, cette nomination représente une reconnaissance officielle de leur engagement envers la nation.
Prenant la parole à son tour, le Ministre de la Santé, Dr Bertrand SINAL, a insisté sur le fait que seule la compétence a été retenue comme critère de sélection. Il a exprimé sa gratitude envers le Conseil Présidentiel de Transition (CPT), en particulier au Conseiller-Président Louis Gérald GILLES, pour leur appui. Le titulaire du MSPP a également annoncé l’arrivée prochaine de 600 autres professionnels de santé, dont 100 sages-femmes, ainsi que la reconstruction de plusieurs hôpitaux dans le Sud, endommagés lors du séisme de 2021.
Le Premier Ministre Alix Didier FILS-AIMÉ a, pour sa part, réaffirmé que toutes les nominations dans l’administration publique doivent désormais répondre au principe du mérite. Il a félicité les lauréates, soulignant que leur recrutement répond à un besoin urgent d’amélioration de l’offre de soins à travers le pays.
La cérémonie s’est conclue par la remise officielle des lettres de nomination par Dr EXALUS et plusieurs autres ministres présents. Dans un contexte où le système de santé peine à répondre aux besoins urgents de la population, cette vague de nominations apparaît comme un signal fort misé sur la compétence et l’engagement des jeunes professionnels pour reconstruire, pas à pas, une santé publique plus humaine et plus efficace.
