Deux des membres du Conseil Présidentiel de Transition, en l’occurrence le Président du CPT, Leslie VOLTAIRE, et le Conseiller-Président Frinel JOSEPH se sont envolés respectivement en Colombie et aux États-Unis. Laissant derrière eux un pays bouleversé par la violence avec les gangs qui terrorisent la population haïtienne.
Le président du conseil présidentiel Leslie VOLTAIRE est actuellement en Colombie pour participer au sommet de la biodiversité des Nations Unies( COP16). Alors que Frinel JOSEPH se retrouve à Washington aux Etats-Unis pour participer aux travaux de la commission de Venise du 28 au 30 octobre 2024.
Ces voyages se font à un moment où le climat d’insécurité prend une autre tournure inquiétante. Les bantits armés ne cessent d’imposer leurs lois que ce soit dans les quartiers de Solino, les communes de Tabarre, de l’Arcahaie entre autres. Les groupes armés continuent de prendre beaucoup plus de territoires et aucune mesure drastique n’est encore annoncée ou prise. La population est désemparée et les Conseillers-Présidents font du tourisme.
La crise sécuritaire semble hors de contrôle et la population vit sous la menace imminente des gangs armés. Les membres du CPT préfèrent voyager au lieu de rester aux côtés du peuple haïtien qui souffre des atrocités.
